(Alliance News) - Big Yellow Group PLC has received a planning permission for a store in Hove, near East Sussex, the self storage company said on Friday.
The FTSE 250-listed firm said the Hove site will provide 55,500 square feet of lettable space, including 4,700 square feet of office space.
Big Yellow said: "The site is currently occupied until Summer 2020 and it is anticipated that construction will commence during the Autumn of 2020, with a view to the store opening in Spring 2022."
Big Yellow initially announced the purchase of the Hove site in March. In July, the company also secured consent to build a site in Uxbridge, west London, where construction is expected to begin in March 2020.
Big Yellow shares were up 1.1% at 1,086.00 pence each in London on Friday morning.
