TechMARK movers: Ark and BATM gain

Wed, 17th Jun 2009 14:13
Privately owned global wound care company AOTI is to use Ark Therapeutics' Kerraboot product as part of its Topical Wound Oxygen Therapy (TWO2) for the treatment of chronic wounds. Kerraboot is a boot-like dressing device used in the management of foot and leg ulcers. Ark has granted AOTI exclusive international rights to purchase Kerraboot for use in the TWO2 treatment. The deal lasts for two years and includes projected sales numbers and minimum purchase commitments on the part of AOTI.Telecoms network company BATM Advanced Communications is confident of hitting its targets for this year despite difficult market conditions. The chairman, Peter Sheldon, said last year's comparative figures for the first half are tough, thanks largely to the boost in business received from the Olympic Games, and revenue in the first half of the current financial year is likely to be more in line with the levels seen in the second half of last year. Profitability is likely to be a tad lower than in the second half of last year, however, because of exchange rate fluctuations.FTSE TechMARK - RisersCML Microsystems (CML) 36.00p +12.50%Ark Therapeutics (AKT) 48.00p +9.09%Kofax (KFX) 155.00p +8.39%Optos (OPTS) 66.75p +5.12%Innovation Group (TIG) 10.75p +2.38%Imagination Technologies (IMG) 94.00p +1.62%Redstone (RED) 8.50p +1.49%Axis-Shield (ASD) 324.00p +1.25%RM Group (RM.) 163.00p +0.77%BATM Advanced (BVC) 33.00p +0.76%FTSE TechMARK - FallersInion (IIN) 0.30p -40.00%Corin Group (CRG) 58.00p -6.45%Oxford Biomedica (OXB) 11.50p -6.12%Sepura (SEPU) 40.50p -5.81%Vislink (VLK) 26.50p -3.64%Kewill (KWL) 75.00p -3.54%Vernalis (VER) 73.00p -3.31%AEA Technology (AAT) 24.50p -2.97%Antisoma (ASM) 26.00p -2.80%Emblaze (BLZ) 35.50p -2.74%
