BATM Advanced Communications Ltd - Israel-based networking and medical technology company - says it has developed a new test for the rapid and comprehensive diagnosis of tuberculosis. Test takes two hours instead of several days with current methods. Clinical trials to start in second half of this year, fully funded by UN's Stop TB Partnership. Expects sales to begin next year.
