(Alliance News) - BATM Advanced Communications Ltd on Monday said it has secured a contract, worth around USD1.3 million, for its agri-waste treatment solution.
The contract, with an undisclosed poultry integrator, based in the Middle East, is expected to be delivered in 2020, BATM said. The client produces, processes, markets and distributes fresh and frozen chicken to customers throughout the Middle East, as well as in several countries in Asia.
The cyber-solutions and biomedical systems provider added that the contract is for the supply and installation of its treatment solution at one of the customer's poultry processing facilities. The solution will be used to allow the poultry remains to be treated safely on-site without producing any damaging by-products.
"I am delighted to have received another order for our agri-waste treatment solution in another new geography. In the last 12 months, we have won contracts totalling around USD7 million for this solution, reflecting the increasing recognition of its unique effectiveness, said BATM Chief Executive Zvi Marom.
"Alongside this progress, we are making great advances within the medical diagnostics business with the NATlab system that we believe can identify human pathogens with unparalleled speed and accuracy. Together with our Eco-Med products, BATM will be able to offer solutions to rapidly and effectively identify, as well as treat pathogens, which can help in the containment of disease outbreaks," he added.
The stock was trading 0.4% lower at 45.42 pence a share in London on Monday.
