LONDON (Alliance News) - Infection control firm Bioquell PLC said Monday its trading remained in line amid "further progress" despite the strengthening of the pound acting as a drag.
Speaking at Bioquell's annual general meeting on Monday, Chairman Ian Johnson said "trading in the year to date has been in line with the Board's expectations, and expects further progress in the current year, despite the recent strengthening of sterling against the US dollar."
In 2017, Bioquell generated GBP3.3 million in pretax profit on revenue of GBP29.2 million.
Shares in Bioquell were 2.5% higher at 292.00 pence on Monday.
