NEW YORK, Nov 12 (Reuters) - Maintenance at BP Plc 'soffshore Thunder Horse oil field facility has pushed trades forthat crude to a nine-month high, three trading sources said onWednesday.

Thunder Horse is the largest deepwater producing field inthe BP portfolio, and has the capacity to produce 250,000barrels of oil, according to a company fact sheet from June2013.
In an earnings call last month, BP's group chief financialofficer, Brian Gilvary, said that the company was planningmaintenance in the Thunder Horse field, among other places, forthe fourth quarter.
"These are maintenance programs that we would not typicallyclassify as turnarounds, but nevertheless they will have animpact on volume," he told analysts.
A BP spokesman declined to comment on day-to-day production.
The tight Thunder Horse market also pushed several GulfCoast sour crudes higher on Wednesday, trading sources said.
