HOUSTON, Aug 4 (Reuters) - BP Plc was restarting areformer and a blending oil unit on Thursday at the 413,500barrel per day (bpd) Whiting, Indiana refinery, said sourcesfamiliar with plant operations.
A BP spokesman declined to discuss production at the Whitingrefinery.
Production has been cut between 20 percent and 25 percent atthe refinery since the weekend outage of the reformer andblending oil unit, the sources said.
The Whiting refinery is also working to fix a leak ofwastewater sediment that has exceeded permitted limits fordischarges into Lake Michigan. (Reporting by Erwin Seba; editing by Grant McCool)
