HOUSTON, Feb 25 (Reuters) - The second-largest crudedistillation unit at BP Plc's 413,500 barrel per day (bpd)Whiting, Indiana refinery was shut on Wednesday morning due to amalfunction, said sources familiar with plant operations.
No time has been set for restarting the 110,000 bpd crudeunit, which is undergoing unplanned repairs, the sources said.
Energy industry intelligence service Genscape reported theunit shut down on Wednesday morning.
A BP spokesman declined to discuss operations at therefinery on Wednesday.
