MILAN, Sept 29 (Reuters) - Gas will start flowing along the
Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) into Italy before the end of this
year in line with targets, the TAP managing director said on
Tuesday.
"At the end of the year the gas will flow and we can finally
open the southern corridor," Luca Schieppati said in an
interview at a conference.
The 878km TAP pipeline is a cornerstone of the European
Union's energy security policy to wean the bloc off Russian gas.
