MOSCOW, Oct 5 (Reuters) - Russian state oil company Rosneft is continuing talks with other firms potentiallyinterested in developing the Russkoye field in Siberia but aimsto retain control over the project, it said in emailed commentson Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Rosneft said that Indonesia's Pertamina couldget up to 37.5 percent in Russkoye. Rosneft said last year ithad a preliminary agreement under which China's Sinopec couldacquire a stake in the field of up to 49 percent.
In an email, Rosneft said that the agreement with Sinopecwas not exclusive and it was continuing talks with allinterested parties.
"The company will retain operational control... irrespectiveof who will be chosen as a partner," it said. (Reporting by Katya Golubkova; Editing by Christian Lowe)
