NORWAY GAS-Flows to Britain ease as Aasgard output cut

* Pipeline gas flows to Europe at 317 mcm/day * Aasgard field output cut due to outage OSLO, Oct 30 (Reuters) - Norwegian gas flows to Britaineased on Friday as production capacity was hit by an unplannedoutage at the Aasgard gas field, data from gas system operatorGassco showed. Gas flows to Europe were running at 317 million cubic metres(mcm) per day by 1000 GMT, down 8 mcm from the volumes deliveredon Thursday. An unexpected outage cut output from the Aasgard field by16.5 mcm/day and was expected to last for 12-24 hours. However, planned maintenance with a volume impact of 30mcm/day ended by Friday, a day earlier than planned. Norway has total gas pipeline capacity of about 350 mcm ofgas per day.
