LONDON, July 30 (Reuters) - BP has not taken any ofthe British company's oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuzsince a July 10 attempt by Iran to seize one of its vessels,Chief Financial Officer Brian Gilvary said.
The oil and gas company has no plans in the short term totake any BP-flagged vessels through the strait, a crucialchokepoint for the delivery of a fifth of the world's oil,Gilvary added.
BP is, however, shipping oil out of the region usingchartered tankers, he added.
