DOW JONES NEWSWIRES The chief executive of Alyeska Pipeline Service Co., which operates the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, said Wednesday that he will retire Sept. 30, Reuters reports. Kevin Hostler took over in 2005 as CEO of Alyeska, whose majority shareholder is oil giant BP PLC (BP, BP.LN) with ConocoPhillips (COP) and Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) holding smaller stakes. Ownership of the 800-mile pipeline is shared mainly by the major oil producers on Alaska's North Slope. Hostler is a former BP executive. His successor hasn't been announced yet.
