Beowulf Mining Says Results Confirm Mineralisation At Wolf Mountain

Tue, 24th Sep 2019 12:42

(Alliance News) - Beowulf Mining PLC said on Tuesday results have confirmed lead-zinc-silver mineralisation at the Wolf Mountain target situated in the Mitrovica project, northern Kosovo.

Drilling and trenching results have confirmed "extensive" lead-zinc-silver mineralisation over over an area of 800 metres in length and 400 metres in width in the northern part of Wolf Mountain, with significant potential for high-grade feeder structures.

"We are excited about the results of Vardar's 2019 exploration programme, which demonstrate that the Wolf Mountain target has potential for economic mineralisation within an extensive lead-zinc mineralised system," said Beowulf Chief Executive Kurt Budge.

Beowulf has a 37.6% stake in Vardar, with an option to raise its interest to 40% by spending GBP115,000. Vardar is exploring the Mitrovica and Viti projects, both of which are located in Kosovo.

Beowulf shares were untraded at 6.125 pence in London on Tuesday.
