LONDON (Alliance News) - Blackrock Emerging Europe PLC Monday said its net asset value and share price both fell in its last quarter.
The closed-end investment trust said its net asset value declined by 3.7% in the three months to April 30, while its share price fell by 4.1%.
At month end, its share price stood at 236.75 pence, with a net asset value of 256.97 pence.
The company's objective is to achieve long term capital growth, principally by investing in companies that do business primarily in Eastern Europe, Russia, Central Asia and Turkey.
Shares in the trust were trading 1.3% higher at 251.71 pence Monday afternoon.
