Bond International Software Loss Widens In 2015 As Disposals Continue

Tue, 28th Jun 2016 11:17

LONDON (Alliance News) - Bond International Software PLC on Tuesday reported a widened pretax loss for 2015 as it began undertaking its programme of disposals.

In March 2015, the company undertook a strategic review of its options, and determined the best way to delivery a return to shareholders was through a programme of divestment.

The staffing software and services company reported a pretax loss of GBP2.0 million for 2015, widened from a pretax loss of GBP1.6 million in 2014.

It completed its first sale in April 2016, selling Strictly Education Ltd for GBP11.3 million.

Earlier this month Constellation Software Inc said it was considering making an offer for all of Bond International at 105 pence per share, and following this, Bond said it was in advanced discussions in respect to further sales, and expects to make further announcements in the coming weeks.

Shares in Bond International Software were down 4.1% at 93.04 pence.
