UK banking stocks were on the rise on Friday, bouncing back after taking a hit earlier in the week following the Autumn Statement, with market sentiment helped by a much better-than-expected US jobs report.Global stock markets jumped after the US Labor Department revealed that monthly non-farm payrolls increased by their most in three years in November. The benchmark Dow Jones index on Wall Street rose to a new intra-day record as the figures showed that a strong rise in employment was also combined with an improvement in wage growth.
