Cybit, which provides vehicle and maritime tracking systems, has had its contract with Fowler Welch, part of Dart Group plc, extended for another five years.The firm will deploy Fleetstar Online across the Fowler Welch trailer fleet as part of a contract valued at about £1m in revenues, to be recognised over the life of the deal. Interactive gaming firm Netplay is launching a new set of live betting products designed for land-based operations and said Stanleybet International (SBI) will be its first distribution partner. Under the terms of a two year deal, SBI will be rolling out the retail products, initially in 100 of its 1,400 outlets. Shares in BlueStar SecuTech advanced after the video surveillance group said its 'Beijing surveillance command centre' is now fully operational.Financial software systems provider Brady said it achieved growth of about 40% in the first six months of 2009.Payments service provider Datacash said its five months results were in line with the board's expectations. "While the company continues to trade in line with the Board's expectations and has not seen any slowing in volume growth, the Board is mindful of the difficult economic and trading conditions. Considering the circumstances the Board remains optimistic of the outlook for this year and beyond," said the group.Leisure machine operator Inspired Gaming has announced a two-year contract extension with Roadchef, up until September 2012. "The exclusive deal, with one of the largest motorway services operators in the UK, is to supply over 200 Category B3 and Category C gaming terminals to RoadChef Adult Gaming Centres on a revenue share basis," said the group.Social housing maintenance group Mears has signed a ten-year partnership deal with Brighton & Hove City Council to provide housing stock upgrades, responsive repairs and comprehensive maintenance services. The contract is valued at £200m commencing in early 2010. The contract takes the total new contracts won by the Group in the current year to approaching £400m, Mears said.Engineer Metalrax reports trading has continued to improve and accordingly the board believes that it will meet current market expectations for 2009. Agreement has also been reached on outline terms with its banks and the pension trustees for a debt refinancing."This agreement is subject to legal documentation and approval by The Pensions Regulator and a further announcement will be made in due course," Metalrax said.Custodian services group STM is to buy acquisition of the Luxembourg based Citadel Group of Companies and associated companies for a maximum consideration of up to €1.88m, subject to regulatory approval. Last year, Citadel reported revenues of approximately €1.13m and a profit after tax of approximately €0.40m.An independent JORC compliant resource upgrade for the Mankayan project in the Philippines helped gold and copper explorer Bezant on Monday.The resource estimate for copper rises 52% to 2.9 billion pounds and by 48% to 4.3 million ounces of gold. There's also an Indicated Mineral Resource of 221.6 million tonnes and Inferred Resource at 36.2 million tonnes.South African miner Coal of Africa has finalised a revised mining layout for its Mooiplaats thermal coal project "Depending on the rate of development, export quality thermal coal is now expected to be reached in November 2009 at the earliest, or the first quarter of 2010 at the latest," it said. Irish mining company Ormonde is in talks with a major mining company about a possible earn-in to its La Zarza ground holdings in southern Spain.The unidentified major would carry out an expanded exploration programme at the project in Huelva province, with the right to earn a 51% interest over three years by spending $7m, at least $1m of which should be in the first year.If it completes a feasibility study on a mining project that meets its investment criteria the miner could raise its stake in La Zarza to 75%.1st Dental Laboratories said sales in the six months to the end of May were 5.5% higher than a year earlier. The dental products supplier said interim profits will be broadly in line with directors' expectations.Ambrian Capital expects revenues and profits for the first half of the year to be materially ahead of forecasts.Wound care specialist Ark Therapeutics has launched Kerraglove, a mitten-shaped dressing device for burns on the hand. Support services firm AssetCo has won a five-year contract to provide an Emergency Fire Crew Capability Service to the London Fire Brigade.The award of the contract will enable the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (LFEPA) to meet its statutory obligation to provide crew resilience if existing services are overrun in crisis situations such as a pandemic illness or flooding.
