Atlantis Resources Name Changes To SIMEC Atlantis After Purchase
LONDON (Alliance News) - Atlantis Resources Ltd on Friday said it has changed its name to SIMEC Atlantis Energy Ltd following the completion of its acquisition of SIMEC Uskmouth Power Ltd.
SIMEC bought the Welsh power station in a reverse takeover in May for GBP123 million, and its shares were re-admitted to trading late that month.
SIMEC has a new ticker, 'SAE', and the 57.1 million shares it issued in May to raise GBP20 million for the acquisition have also begun trading.
Shares were flat Friday morning at 36.19 pence each.
