Sun, 29th Sep 2024 13:08

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced in the past week and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Oberon Investments Group PLC - London-based investment management, wealth planning and corporate broking - Hires Marcia Manarin to be finance director, a board position. Manarin has "20 years of leadership experience in finance", including with VSA Capital Group PLC, Stifel and Macquarie. She joins on Tuesday and replaces Galin Ganchev, who will leave the board on October 11. Ganchev joined Oberon in May last year. He departs for VSA Capital, a London-based investment banking and broking firm. Ganchev will be its new finance director, starting October 14.

----------

Cirata PLC - Jersey-based data transfer and integration - Ijoma Maluza resigns as chief financial officer "to take up the position of CFO within a private company". Maluza, who joined in April 2023, will depart Cirata at the end of December. Cirata hires Ricardo Moura to be interim CFO, joining on Monday. Moura has "over 15 years of finance leadership experience", Cirata says.

----------

Autins Group PLC - Rugby, Warwickshire-based maker of acoustic and thermal insulation solutions - Qu Li joins board immediately as non-executive director and representative of 27% investor Braveheart Investment Group PLC. Li is founder & chief executive officer of Morris Commercial Ltd, a UK company seeking to produce battery electric vans.

----------

Castings PLC - Brownhills, West Midlands-based iron casting and machining for heavy truck market - Hires Stephen Harrison as an independent non-executive director, starting this past Thursday. Harrison is chair of Epwin Group PLC and was CEO of Forterra PLC, both building products firms.

----------

Predator Oil & Gas Holdings PLC - Jersey-based firm with operations in Morocco and Trinidad - Hires Stephen Boldy to be non-executive chair, starting immediately. Boldy is CEO of Lansdowne Oil & Gas PLC. At Predator, Boldy replaces Paul Griffiths, who earlier in the month moved to CEO from executive chair. This followed the departure of Lonny Baumgardner as managing director.

----------

Christie Group PLC - London-based provider of professional services for customers in hospitality, leisure, healthcare, medical, childcare, education and retail - Makes Simon Herrick permanent non-executive chair, effective immediately. Herrick has been interim chair since David Rugg departed immediately as chair & CEO back in July of 2023.

----------

Agronomics Ltd - investor in cellular agriculture - Shellbay Investments Ltd, the adviser to Agronomics, names Philip Boigner as interim CEO, effective immediately. Boigner replaces Anthony Chow, who leaves immediately. The move follows a "strategic review" by James Mellon, chair of Agronomics and sole owner of Shellbay. Boigner is a director of New Agrarian Co Ltd, an active investor in cell agriculture and fermentation technologies, Agronomics says.

----------

Corre Energy BV - developer of underground energy storage projects in Europe - Calls extraordinary general meeting for October 7 to approve the appointment of a new board. George Fraser will be an independent director and chair, while representatives of major shareholders will be Brendan Boyd of Stream Street Ltd, Stephen Carolan of Pageant Investments Ltd, and Gemma Monaghan of Air Corre Ltd. Corre Energy says it will appoint more non-executive directors in coming weeks and is considering adding another executive director alongside Keith McGrane.
