LONDON (Alliance News) - Angus Energy PLC on Thursday said it has completed acquisition of an additional 20% interest in the UK Lidsey licence, located in Bognor Regis, taking its total interest to 80%.
Angus acquired the interest from Doriemus PLC and it includes Doriemus's 30% direct participating working interest in the Lidsey-X2 production well. As consideration for the interest, Angus issued 8.3 million shares at a price of 5.6148 pence per share.
The shares will be admitted to trading in AIM on or around Friday next week and will bring Angus's shares in issue to 467.3 million.
Shares in Angus Energy were up 0.9% at 5.75p on Thursday.
