(Alliance News) - Aberdeen Latin American Income Fund Ltd on Wednesday said Non-Executive Director George Baird has retired with immediate effect.
The investment trust "thanked George for his significant contribution as a director since the launch of the company in 2010, and as chair of the audit committee since 2015."
Independent Non-Executive Director Heather MacCallum will assume the role of audit committee chair with immediate effect, the trust said.
Aberdeen Latin separately declared a unchanged first interim dividend of 0.875 pence per share in respect of the year ending August 31, 2020, payable on January 29, 2020, to shareholders on the register on December 20. Ex-dividend date is set at December 19.
Shares in Aberdeen Latin were untraded at 67.50p per share on Wednesday afternoon in London.
