LONDON (Alliance News) - Wireless equipment-testing technology company Anite PLC on Thursday said it has secured a contract from Chinese state-owned telecommunications company China Telecom.
Under the deal, China Telecom will use Anite's interoperability and performance test product, SAS, as a part of its long-term evolution (LTE) acceptance programme, which ensures devices perform as expected on the provider's platform.
No financial details on the contract were disclosed.
"We are delighted to have been selected by China Telecom for LTE data throughput testing. Anite's range of leading device test solutions enable mobile operators like China Telecom to cost-effectively and quickly verify and launch new devices to market," said Paul Beaver, products director in the device and infrastructure testing arm of Anite.
Shares in Anite were up 1.8% to 94.62 pence on Thursday.
