We were joined live by Shaun Day, MD at Greatland Gold (GGP) for an hour and 10 minutes of Q&A on Thursday 9.3.2023 and he didn’t disappoint. Shaun brought a new presentation with him which included the drill results just released for the 100% owned Scallywag tenement, and the latest news on the ASX cross-listing.

Shaun told us that the ASX cross-listing would hopefully be happening in June-July 2023

He described the Scallywag results as "exciting: the most promising we have seen since Havieron."

He still hopes to be drilling Ernest Giles in the second half of 2023, although that's not written in stone yet.

He confirmed that Newcrest is in play and that Newmont may or may not end up purchasing NCM. And although Havieron is in the Top 10 Australian gold mines with 3M ounces so far, Havieron is still relatively small. It would very much depend what Newmont, a super major with some very large mines globally, made of the asset.

"If they came and fell in love with Havieron they may decide to keep it. And therefore may pay a suitably large price for our 30%. Or they may on the other hand decide to sell, and we have a first right of refusal if it is sold. And Wyloo is our strategic partner, and they have deep pockets" said Shaun.
