I wanted to let you know about improvements we have made to lse.co.uk...and a few that we hope to have in place before Christmas. Today Left-hand navigation menu: Re-designed to be bolder, larger, and easier to use. When you click on an area, it transports you there and opens the drop-down sub-section options for that area. Quick-picks: For lse.co.uk members, this service allows you to pin a particular share you are looking at above the left-hand navigation menu to re-visit it later without having to search the site again. It also displays the price in pence, whether the share price has risen or fallen, and the share’s short ‘trading’ name. You can pin up to 15 shares at any one time, only being removed if you click the red cross...even remaining there if you log-out and log-in again! Simply become a Member and get clicking on the red pin icon by the particular share(s) you want to (easily) re-visit. Tomorrow Stock-picker: No pressure on our technical guys (!), but this is ready to go, bar adding a few use parameters. This allows you – surprise, surprise – to select criteria to research shares. Examples of these are by earnings-per-share, dividend yield, 52-week high or low price, etc, etc. I have had a play with this and it is excellent! Again, sign-up as a Member to enhance your lse.co.uk experience and gain some interesting, helpful research data. Share trading/Spread-betting/CFD’s: This is the doozy for me. We have worked on this for over a year now, selecting the company we feel is spot-on to work with us and treat our Members fairly. We have had feedback that lots of you would like to trade via lse.co.uk. Fingers-crossed, we are nearing the stage of demoing the system and drafting final contracts, hoping for it to be live in November. The trade prices look pretty good too...watch this space! Until next time...
