Re: ...with not necessarily a lot of cash...
Latest results clearly show negative equity, add to this costs to keep the lights which are burning out remaining cash balances.
I'm surprised creditors are not pulling the plug, but at the same time looking at assets it's quite obvious they don't have much to take back on a first place, so I guess everyone just wrote this off.
But I'm guessing you both already know all that......and are here to dupe. Any chance you're part of the crew that took the opco out?
Nice try guys. It's just a shame we had to write down the entire ZAIM opco in Russia (worth some £10m on the balance sheet) and currently don't have an opco we are trading through. As such we're a cash shell figuring out what to do next, with not necessarily a lot of cash. That's from a current shareholder (me). So I'm not eagerly anticipating a strong trading update, personally, as to all intents and purposes we are not currently trading......
I am eagerly looking forward to our upcoming trading update. Our company has strong fundamentals and is performing exceptionally well. I believe that we will achieve the broker target price of 11.6p in the current quarter.
"Increasing loan portfolio with additional capital offers the advantage of borrowing at a low interest rate of 1.2% per month and lending at a profitable rate of 1% per day."
And another one bites the dust ..
How many stocks left out here with high exposure to operations in Russia?
Not sure why this was even listed since there were practically no trading activity/liquidity anyway.
On 1 trade for 500 quid…..likely best to ignore the SP info here until there is some real liquidity. However I do wonder for how much longer Companies will be able to pull the Covid card as an excuse for delaying the publication of their financial results.
Falling badly
This share is going to explode.... it really is a sleeping beast. Incredible RNS today!

I like the comment "I would say now Zaim is a money machine which is growing..." by CEO Siro Ciccone...
Hopefully this will put Zaim on the radar of more investors.
Yes sometimes with fast developing companies reporting numbers in arrears there can be a lag until you see the good progress feed through to the financials but the writing is on the wall here the company have been quite actively communicating the progress. Not sure where they are with the app but that can be a gamechanger too as it rolls out. I took a similar position to Simon and would like to add funds allowing.
Looking very encouraging, huge growth rate! If we extrapolate that going forwards we could see quite a significant move here..
Director Simon Retter buying £60k of stock on open market at 4.4p a few months back shows they're confident.
Bring on Q1 results
Well done to team Zaim, incredible work to profitability
It’s coming
I think some of the large trades we see may be arranged trades. A lot of the share capital is held through some kind of bond structure from the original investors prior to float I think. There is a nice pie here:
https://www.zaimcreditsystemsplc.com/shareholder_structure
I think from time to time some of these shares linked to the bond may swap owners. The 'free float' of the remainder may actually be relatively small. I think Zaim SA is the counterparty for the bond but my knowledge of the structure is very limited. These are listed as being under the control of the CEO Siro Ciccone.
I would like to invest more (currently in for 1m shares) but do see it as a long term investment and need other things to platy out shorter term to make a further purchase. I understand the model, and the model is sound!
I have a peek at the trades the odd day Terry but probably not often enough to notice any pattern/or multiples of same volume. The list on here doesn’t seem to be complete as far as I can tell either and I don’t look into it any further. Very comfortable sitting on this one just, once you do your research on it it’s a waiting game from then on. So much opportunity here in terms of where they can take the business also, most of the hard work has been done at this stage (relationships built with their own lenders etc.) so I’d say any big moves they wanted to make in the medium term could be executed pretty swiftly.
Tiggs, did you notice the trades for £9999 last week. About 16 of them in total. Some big shapes changing hands here. When it’s all done it’s going to shoot up.
I’ve only been here a few months too. Also find it very quiet in here and advfn. A few loyal followers it seems on Twitter. I like finding this kind of stock though, so under the radar,. Guaranteed when the herd arrives on some breakthrough news it should go ballistic.
Yes, I’m aware of the buy and know it hasn’t really hit that level since (or for very long at least), he bought at 4.4? I did come across Zaim, by chance admittedly, in Jan but don’t have any intention of selling for a few years at least. I find it a very interesting offering considering the low default rate, the aim to service Russian nationals located outside the country at any given time, and also possible expansion into other areas of Europe with the app being the catalyst. It’s odd to me that I rarely see any chatter on them though other than here (I have been a long time lurker between here and advfn but only recently created account here). Their social media updates seem to recycle the same quotes too which is a bit ... boring. I think their branding style etc. is great though, just not much for them to report at the minute it seems!
That was a delayed trade from Friday. Been a lot of very large trades, buys as well as sells over past few weeks. This is poised to go a lot higher in my opinion. Everything is pointing to it. FD recently bought a shed load, 1.3m if I remember correctly, the business is becoming more profitable, reducing costs, mobile app release imminent, broker target of 11.6p ... no way I’d be selling any right now. DYOR
Did anyone else clock the 79k sell today? Really don’t see any significant lift in sight for this stock, I think any uplift brought by the app will be suppressed pretty quickly by anyone currently sitting on losses looking to break even at the very least - though I def hope that isn’t the case
Excited for our next trading update. A really solid company with excellent fundamentals. I think broker target price of 11.6p will be seen in this quarter.
Additional capital to increase loan portfolio. Got to be good to be borrowing at 1.2%/month and lending at 1%/day.
