They have 300,000 customers, if they only made £20 profit a year on each one that’s £6m and on a forward p/e of 20 which would not be unreasonable for a fintech co, that puts it at a £120m market cap... 6 bag from here. Numbers are going up double digit % each month. Watch the interview on proactive. The ceo is Italian not Russian btw
THE RUSSIAN
MARKET
IS STILL AT ITSINITIAL
STAGE AND IT IS
DESTINED TO GROW
MULTIPLE-FOLD
ON ITS CURENT
SIZE
That is not the strongest use of english! They probably read that over and over again to check for errors. Russian CEO and a British management team?
If only in Russia then sorry to say growth could be small. Revenues have taken a dip over the years. They do not have particularly stable EPS growth and Russia is not a wealthy market. Outside Moscow and St Petersburg people are poor. A punt yes but big returns NO !! If ZAIM was in the UK, USA, China or Germany then you might have had a chance for some decent growth.
IMO DYOR.
Potential is enormous. Good board of directors with U.K. backgrounds. Multibagger?
I bought yesterday morning at 3.50 having followed it since 24th Dec. We are now in unchartered territory but in terms of targets I plan to hold to 8p. I am not one for fundamental analysis so if you have targets please do let me know.
absolutely bugger all freefloat...
https://www.zaimcreditsystemsplc.com/shareholder_structure
20% of the shares in issue are for public to trade.
Noting: Siro Cicconi, a director of the Company, is the ultimate beneficial owner of Zaim SA which he wholly owns through his life interest in Excelsior Foundation which wholly owns Zaim SA
Does anyone know free float for this share..?
Noel Borg likes it..
Good to see buy interest turning up here, business is growing exponentially, is profitable, very under the radar... can see it going on a big move at some point
Beginning to get a bit of life here (in the stock price anyway)
Do you mean to regulate it? The finance being sold in Russia is compliant with Russian legislation then what would the FCA adjudicate on? I don't believe a UK listed company operating in a foreign country has to comply with UK lending criteria for UK lenders...
Share price as it stands is cheap as they have become profitable , should shift upwards over next 2 years , long term if the upward trend continues , 2 years worth 15p plus my reckoning
I would like to form an opinion on Zaim, a Russia payday lender. I googled Zaim and 4 websites came up: Zaimer; DobroZaim; Zaimigo; Web-zaim; all seem to be Russian websites. This made me anxious that some turnover and transactions could be diverted thereby. I texted Mr Cicconi on 13 November with a request for clarification as to which ones are the property of the A.I.M. listed Zaim; as of 22 November I have not received a reply. Does anyone know the answer? I like the look of the company but strange things happen in Russia. Also, any views on post-Covid-19 prospects of this company?
For an IT company (if we look at this as part tech) being profitable at this early stage is unusual. I have no idea how much the App costs to develop and market but if it can be done from existing cashflows, that's really good.
I'm from IT background and there is often a lot of upfront spend.
Anyway the strategy is super sound, just got to hope Covid plays ball. It seems to help as well as hinder in the loans market so hopefully a solid Q4 then onwards and upwards next year. If I had more funds I would add now but alas no such luck. GLA
*scaleable
Keys for me are:
Hugely saleable online business that is growing at an exponential rate
Also bottom line net profitable... "Zaim's cash position increased by £195k in September to £433k, despite the significant amounts reinvested into growing the loan book"
Very solid update
"· Outstanding growth of amount funded online of 327% from £378k in Q2 2020 to £1,153k in Q3 2020
· Strong recovery in amount funded to £2,307k in Q3 2020 representing increase of 42.3% vs. Q2 2020 (an increase of 4.3% on Q3 2019)"
Profitable, massive growth in online sales (to over 50% of sales in the last month of the quarter were online!) and back to pre pandemic levels on sales. The strategy is working. What we need to see is how bad second wave Covid is in Russia but I expect this to do very well in 2021. GLA

Online bigger than offline business. That's a very rapid transformation - was expecting it at some point but not this early. With the App due H1 will get very interesting. I need to do some reading on how the second wave is likely to impact Russia before invest more.
Some big trades going on here tho. I'll keep an eye on it when hzm hits 40p ;-)
