I suspected so but wasn't sure......;) GL
I didn't stay around long after my last post last night.... but rest assured I know how percentages work, and I was generally just being facetious.

Aaaah, so you do read 'em. lol Ppl affected by insults normally have a heart....:..P I figured out what BT meant, thanks sarccy. Have a good day them tmrw:) I'm sure Chuckie will help me slate you in your absence ;) Nos da WM:) Byddwch yn ei golli 😊
Mostly. Hopefully last one. Thank you for asking Fik :)
Do you mean illiterate pmsl?!!!!
Ooooh. Me thinks me found sore point..... Oui?? :) Illegitimate? Where did I say that?
I did say that didn't I..... Memory not so bad I guess:)
Mention SEPU one more time. Do it. Just. One. More. Time..............
'Worserer'. Top notch schools in wales I see. Maths a no-no. Vocab-worse. Fickle to boot. 😃😃 Dear dear.........just won't do.....
If you're referring to AST, I am invested in it. For the 4th time. But told you, for the 4th time, I nd to inc. holding. For the 4th time. Oridnarily, I wld say 20-3 but happy to kp it at 19-3 all of a sudden 😃😃😃 At 'Hendon' you mean?? :)
It cld always be worse. I cld be invetsed in MYN, AST and SML......!
👅 That's not what I/we said. Don't get smart.....:)
Abyssmal. Has done all day. I bought in last night at 3.30 when it hit 1234/1235. There was 0.0000001% of it going higher. What happened today? Hit highest in over a week at 1244. You honestly cldn't make it up. I think that's what Lotech doesn't stand either. How can that be?? ''Fixed'' by the big institutions.... Waited 15 hrs to drop. Hasn't :( So, I am pretty much doomed unless it crashes tmrw. Simple. Fingers crossed. lol...... Reckon SML, AST, MYN and VAST were the muc 'safer' , less riskier options now!! :)
It makes a lot of sense. Gdnite Lotech.
Yes. Sometimes, but if I was responsible for large sum of cash, I would not want the pressure of causing apoplexy on a share just because I had purchased a measly trillion shares in XTR or LGO. Time for beauty sleep now. Probably a wasted effort, but worth a try. Goodnight all and God bless.
Slugworth. it's the 10% of X that makes the difference i.e.billions and billions of £. Not a few hundred or thousands of £. Many, many, many multiples.............000000s
10% ??? You could just invest in AIM and get a few baggers.
Bunny ears, abnormal volume, and broken norm. I can't lose.
I have read all the contributions to this 'Speculative' topic so far, but, as I have probably not explained my query sufficiently, for those still awake, I will break it down. 1. Forget I said hundreds of billions for the moment. 2. I only have 1.24 billion USD. 3. After changing it into £sterling, I now have £1 billion. 4. S&P collapses, massive problems with Uncle Sam's bonds, mortgages, bank liquidity, etc, etc and so the USD falls in value against the £ reaching a level of 1.55 US dollars=£1.00 5. Various tactics employed by the FRB to raise the value of the dollar but the new interest rates only make the debt and default situation worse. 6. Uk BoE also raises interest rates to match the Fed, but if the U.K economy is in better shape than the US, then the new US dollar to pound ratio remains. 7. Eventually I decide to change my £1.0 billion into USD and get $1.5 billion. Gross profit of over 10% Multiply that by a few hundred to get my original speculative 'currency trades' Is the above so far fetched or not, because if an idiot like me can think of this, then a cleverer and richer investor can do the same but in a more subtle manner. Or not ?
I was checking out AST and i noticed that during the first week of October, the chart produced a bunny ears formation. Significant?
Roeddwn yn barod, regardless ;)
Impressed :))
