News, Sorry, apologies for misunderstanding your post.
I thought originally that it was a direct quote from John Cornford.
For the avoidance of doubt:
40p is NOT from me.
It is from the John Cornford initial 2nd article from recall. Folks are quoting it so I am mentioning it ie that thanking at 40p and thanking now.
By the way, thanking Mr Colin Bird, XTR Chairman is appropriate at this juncture for L2, myself and another poster.
Why?
Surely, Mr Bird has gone out of his way to keep us shareholders informed and not let us worry etc. He has put out RNS when there has been material news and followed it up with an interview. Every part of the way, he has provided communication.
Whilst we may be giving BODA*s data of their strike, depth and width vs Bushranger-Racecourse, that is merely our data sharing. Although Mr Bird mentioned BODA vs Racecourse in his earlier interview, it is still not enough for us as we shareholders are not GEOLOGISTS by profession with a 5 star background. Therefore, Mr Bird*s comments in his interview yesterday from their geologists [would include PhD, young geo, Mr Jeremy Read, former BHP Head of Exploration of Australia-Africa and Doug Menzies, Expert in Lachlan Fold, NSW and from Corbett Menzies of NSW, Consultants] relating to BODA vs Racecourse is helpful.
Mr Bird is also listening to what folks are saying and providing answers likeXRF and reason why the RNS was after the mkt closed due to need for scrutiny as norm.
So, yes, its good to thank now on what Mr Bird has done for us shareholders.
When it gets to 40p, I am sure it will not be just thank you but very great thank you.
For the avoidance of doubt:
Mr John Cornford has not mentioned corporate action.
I only mentioned that there can be corporate action if one observes other co*s. For example, Kincore Copper is going to list on the ASX as I posted yesterday or so. They said that Australians are keen to invest and fund local projects in Australia. Formerly, they were only listed in Canada but will now have dual listing.
Therefore, Mr Bird once said that he will make BUSHRANGERS known to Australia so maybe he could make this more available?
Just a passing comment.
I think it’s very encouraging that such a respected and long standing mining journo as John Cornford has taken a position here.
He must see many false dawns in this game, so I think he has come to the conclusion the fundamentals here are looking very good for a significant rerate.
Also, I also think his methodology for determining the anticipated future SP must have some credibility and be robust. Obviously the assumptions that he uses will change, but his methodology should give a good indication of the potential sp and can be ‘firmed-up’ as and when we get more info.
His 40p estimate in January was for 80% AA buy-out assuming, POC $8000, 2mt contained copper, 3% margin buy-out.
That may need to be revised!
Is he maybe hinting on some past precedent that AA might jump in sooner than currently expected?
Re John Cornford’s updated blog on XTR, is his mention of possible Corporate Action a non-denial denial ?
AGreed 1DAYMAYBE I also think its jumping the gun for the backslapping to start. And I'm sure Colin would agree lets save all the plaudits until this has truly delivered and in the bag via a confirmed asset/sale or a substantially higher valuation.
Nice sentiment but its still early days.
Can we save the thank you wishes until CB gets us through 40p!
Mr John Cornford, Mining Analyst, MasterInvestors has updated his article which includes XTR - he states he is a holder.
If, XTR goes by the methodology of other discoveries and as Mr Bird said: TRANSFORM ANY CO in Canada, London or Australia, it could be that there may be CORPORATE ACTION? Of what nature, I am not privy to but it is a general observation only from the past. However, the past need not repeat so one waits to see?

I second that L2analyst. Absolute legend.
There's a man that knows any 'oles a goal! At Bushranger anyway!
Have to say big THANK YOU to Mr Bird for looking after the shareholders
Its certainly a struggle buying at times
So easy to take your eye off the ball! Yes so much more to come into play & soon! Money coming in from other projects to help prove up Bushranger!
Still money in the bank so no fund raise required!
Market will take this so much higher!
Demand for shares is outstripping supply, mm will need to put this into double figures to intice some selling , imo
An update which identified production on the various areas of Manica... and tailings processing in Zambia.... amounting to an income of say 300k a month before Hardrock, would be very supportive of our current position..... and might give us a leg up....
