i think a lot of folk are fed up with XTR. we should be much much higher than this given the price of copper etc etc. I'm not saying anything is wrong, just depends on your time frame for trading / investing. Some folk will sell up and move on. I have reduced my holding ( only had about £15k in my SIPP) taken profits and put that into ZPHR, a very solid bet for the next 12-24 months. Good luck all. XTR will come good, but will take a fair amount of time imo.
Something odd going on with share price today. Great news yesterday. Only 1.1m shares traded today and somehow we are down 5%.
On L2, buying volume looks similar to, if not greater than selling volume. Indicators say well oversold. Looks a lot like a tree shake.
Conviction time :)
LittleWing,
As Steve has alluded to it may well have been a figment of his imagination.
but but but Colin told Zak it is a monster....
@Steve4077
Yes i agree with your view of the situation, which if you peel it back it comes down to the post code, potential economics of the mine and the type / size of resource this is appearing to be. CB is the route to gain the value - i don't think the walk down the garden path applies at all here. The biggest concern would be raising more cash for (yet unknown) extended drilling before forcing AAL's hand through decision to mine or engaging (sale) with an alternate interested party. I certainly don't think CB in terms of his age will want to mine.

>> To the extent it makes me feel like trading (which would be a big mistake).
Yes, I have made that mistake before :)
It's human nature to start imagining the worst in the absence of information to the contrary. Children in the dark think there are monsters under their bed. As we get older, we have sufficient information and judgement to know that is very unlikely.
Same applies to XTR. There might be terrible assay results and CB might just be leading us all down the garden path, but considering the evidence available, it is much more likely there is a mountain of copper under the bed :)
@Steve4077
"...then you will be in a great situation when the huge value at bushranger becomes obvious to everyone...."
And that time will come probably supported by the release of assays, 3D model, and an independent report as to the size, economics, and value of what we have...
Let's all be patient - though that's easier said than done...
For me i have a number of mining related (Cu, Au) stocks that have risen over the last 6-8 months and am in a good place. However, i have invested initially for a 2-3 year time frame. So when i see markets doing well and i am waiting on the change in my SP's (due to data, updates, Quarterly figures) it is very very frustrating. To the extent it makes me feel like trading (which would be a big mistake).

It is a little frustrating that the story now is so much better than when the share price holding above 6p and 7p. The main reason is that story needs some understanding and not everyone is going to invest the time to do so.
However, while frustrating in the short term, that lack of research from the majority of investors is also the reason that you can make life-changing money on the stock market. If, like CB, you are loading up at these levels, then you will be in a great situation when the huge value at bushranger becomes obvious to everyone.
@Hottesttony Impressive that you manage to cram so many incorrect statements into only three lines. Still, everyone has to be good at something.
HT - wow you are so very negative. it really makes no sense but each to own.
Re the MMs though - market makers seem to be playing games. and I expect will continue to over the coming days
which makes sense if they are collecting
Money is moving back to PM from Crypto (fact)
PM prices were already climbing and are now surging (fact)
Base metal prices inc Copper are reaching all time highs and every signal points to that continuing or at the very worst holding (not fact, but very close to)
yet this morning several/most PM stocks are down and mining is taking a pinch. Which has also been the case for a few for a little while - that the news is out there but the SP action hasn't started yet.
suggests some share collecting taking place, and I think a process of readying for climbs. not just here, in several less liquid stocks.
looking logically at news flow, the wider market and economic climate, SP behaviour, expectations and predictions etc.
cant imagine your comment alone would cause a massive impact but it doesn't make a great deal of sense when stacked up against fundamentals known.
guess we will find out on here and the other comparable stocks in the coming days - where the climb should definitely start
Hottesttony.... yup there is absolutely nothing to talk about so can we rest assured you wont post again ?
Look at the price of copper today it’s still rising even gold sky high yet XTR still down. Market Makers are never wrong. XTR is not rising and that’s because there nothing in Bushranger worth talking about. My views. No one buying shares this morning. Not seen that in a long time.
Yes, really ideal time to release the Assay results. Imo.
Thanks Morethanme - That helps people to visualise what is down there and begin to understand why CB talked about having a 1000 x 1000 x 1000 block of mineralisation. And clearly there is more to the south, plus Footrot and a few other nibbles across Bushranger to add to the mix.
To give a bit more perspective as to the potential scale - A block of 1000 x 1000 x 1000 is equal to approximately 2.7Bt. An average grade of 0.26% Cu (same as Cadia-Ridgeway, which has approx 3.5Bt ore) would equate to 6.75Mt of Cu. Obviously, we need the grades confirmed (and I perhaps moan more than most that they haven't been forthcoming or an update provided) but the evidence gives us reason to be confident:
* CB buying shares (in the open market)
* £5.5m raised for phase 2 drilling
* Existing JORC grades
* Hole 1 assay results
* Grades at other mines along the Lachlan Fold Belt
* CB stating a number of times during interviews... "we have the grades"
The potential reward here is massive and I couldn't resist adding a bit more yesterday. Come on XTR... it is time to fly! CB... assays please!!!!
fair enough. agreed. cheers!
@papaduke
The negative speculation on this board comes from impatience (we all want the quick return...), the lack of SP movement is because real results and data (3D plans, assays, independent reports) all take time and if i was a II i would want to see this data before piling in and elevating the SP. But i am not a II i am like most here a PI who speculate - just like CB - so why don't we all take a breath and say this researched gamble is heading the right way, and recognise until there's independent evidence / report (already planned) then the share price will sit where it currently sits. This SP will not continue to go vertical based on the discovery of an extended Cigar shaped porphyry months ago so lets all be patient and wait for CB's judgement on when and how to present the extensive data which for him and us will take the SP northwards.
IMO ATB Shorn
forgive me, but the current lack lustre share price and constant negative speculation is what's not to like !. No more cloaks and daggers please CB, just the truth and nothing but the truth. I am a holder by the way.
The cigar, marrow, cathedral, has gone replaced by a cats head with ears.
This data has totally transformed the potential of this asset - 3D version is going to look really good.
Exceeding buy back requirements, shallow & economical dig with infrastructure, and close to Sydney.
What's not to like about CB's plans...
IMO ATB Shorn
@MoreThanMe
Holy cr*p that's big when you look at it like that...

Took some time today to measure, map and plot out the areas of red and yellow and make an interpretation of how each survey line could link up. Bear in mind, this is purely 2d, not taking into account depth.
