who owns XER?
Wow...another AIM company goes under....I lost £8k when I sold out at £1.10...but my word there's a lot of people who gambled their shirt on this one....who'd have thought... chalk it up to experience and trade FTSE 100 stocks....Safer
the company being liquidated is XEL the company owning the license is XER
Probably have a buyer lined up at a knock down price
Enough Overman you most certainly did not you ridiculed the likes of myself and many others that preached caution and like 13 took the absolute p155 out of anyone that disagreed with you. When it became apparent you changed to the crusader saying the BOD must be punished and a No vote was the way forward and it has ended up exactly as the same people have predicted with it going into liquidation with everyone losing everything so well done on all points buddy. I feel sorry for you and many others losing money but you made your bed so you will have to sleep in it. Instead of pursuing posters like CC who has been making the right calls all the way along try some humility instead and try learning from this instead of constantly pointing and blaming others who turned out to be right. Better luck next time perhaps
The company is worthless without the licence, to retain the licence the company needs to remain as a going concern, thus surely liquidating the company they will loose the licence and everyone looses. As such... makes sense for BHs to call off the lawyers, come back to the table and find a deal that works for most... i hope there is more to this than there is.
I lost a shed load of money here and licking my wounds , I really thought this share was going places until the poo collapsed . Dust myself off , onwards and upwards. At least I still have my health.
...BUT O'man...most gardeners can tell the woods from the trees my dear fellow & not follow the ramblers...
Mr cat I was only stating what Rupert was indicating to everyone that everything was rosy in the garden
yOU KNOW...some can't resist taking the crumbs off the table when they've eaten their cake.
In Vegas playing poker.
Where is 13 now?.....his knowledge got him, errrrrm, nowhere........lololol.
Oh dear, Poor Mr cole, have all the nasty bondholders come and upset things in the day room? You poor dear. Here, let nurse make you a nice cup of tea...Ooh look Mr Kew has come to visit there you go ...Psst don't mention the gaggle of Shareholders fronted by 13 Marthasson & legends outside of Aberdeen offices ...he's had a harrowing day ...bless him.
If by defending your position you mean telling everyone the warrants expiry was the key to progress or that we shouldn't worry about the bonds, or starting pointless arguments with people that weren't even discussing something with you, then yes, I'd agree.
Mr forklift I only defended my position as a share holder with a substantial holding I held for a very long 4 years lessons learned
FCUKed Xcite & shareholders well before today's RN's. I hope OGA can reclaim the licence & put an end to this farce. At least the greedy BH's would be in the same boat as us. As for Rupert his time will come. One day Rupert one day.
Give it a rest Overman...... one time fanboy becomes warrior........no one will forget your aggressive defence of this shambles of a company.
Really? I have never shorted this share. I reduced my holding, as you know, to almost zero once it was clear the bonds would not be repaid on time. That does not mean I played the game both ways, it means I WAS SENSIBLE WITH MY OWN MONEY. Find a post where I ever recommended anyone BUY or SELL this share. I have spent my time on this forum trying to catch out those who have ramped this share. Which as you will now see was entirely justified. I wouldn't have said I was a major shareholder, (my holding peaked at about 300,000 shares) but I lost a lot of money here, just not as much as I could have if i stayed in to the end. I know you won't answer, because you can't, but what audacity of mine is breathtaking?
What's the point you would be better off asking the government to bale the company out
Mr cat one share the audacity of you is breathtaking please tell me what is you're next gig so I can follow you I know your style now mr tagnol
Mr cat you are one devious man a clever one at that I was never fooled by your pretence of being a major shareholder you no doubt played the game both ways long or short depending what hat you wore for that day good on you if you made money for your champagne lips with lemonade pockets
Not a chance, just another one to put with beocon hill, ect, but he there's one thing when sou comes in, and then bmr, followed by edl , it will help my capital gains tax. Ok then yes I'm a dreamer, but that's most investors in high risk shares. But couldn't care less at the moment as I'm laid on the floor in agony with a slipped disc, trapping my syatic nerve, and my mothers got dementia, in hospital with major infection , puts it all in perspective really. Thought I'd have laugh with the strong buy, should be by by .
Overman, do you ever have anything useful to contribute here? I have 1 share left, and yes I'd have voted no, but I was well aware it would likely force the outcome we have seen today. That was kinda the point. How does that make me a hypocrite?
Yeh mr jonjo truce called big lesson learned never take notice of company directors why did xel not call for suspension a year ago when directors allegedly knew we were doomed I think someone within xel will be sued for there actions what was the 10 mill for
Its all over no point even checking in on here !
