Pump; this is WSG, it’s all a fantasy don’t you know lol
I really hope Iran settles with the west.
No where for Pete to hide then.
For 400 million, yeah right!
So if trading with Iran is considered a bad idea then why is Liz so keen to clear this debt?

UK is pretty good at holding its nose when it wants to.
DRC contract is being re-negotiated due to the issues with RVA, as to Vander’s comment “Wsg were chosen as they may have been willing to ignore these irregularities and proceed with half baked contracts” I think getting the Gig was only part of the process and in fact it may have led to the re-think in order to address the issues. Can we agree that DRC does need to do something pronto to improve airport security?
Liberia, well issues with charges are nothing new. Tema had similar issues and was constantly ridiculed by many on here.
Great research Vander
Here is more info on the Salam investor
https://home.treasury.gov/news/press-releases/sm1185
This article states the following:
Officials said Salam is the first air terminal designed and built by Iranian experts. Iran’s Bonyad Mostazafan provided funding under a BLT (build-lease-transfer) deal signed in January 2017.

Here is the link on Bonyad mostazafan, linked with the revolutionary guard
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mostazafan_Foundation
Also Iran have pivoted to China and Russia

Looks like an agreement between Iran and the west is ever so close, politically it might not be such a good news because you just can't trust this crazy Iranian regime, but business wise it might create opportunities to western companies when sanctions are lifted,....is WSG going to be one of the beneficiaries is remains to be seen....
The new Salam terminal was funded and supplied in the end by local Iranian suppliers/ manufacturers and investors
The Iranian investor was bonyad mostazafan or the Mostazafan Foundation of the Islamic Revolution
Consider whether they would be a good future business partner for WSG if the JCPOA is resurrected
Bill twehway has been suspended for allegedly paying NPA funds to family owned companies
There is an arguable similarity with Abdallah billenge in DRC where the head of the airport authority exhibits business judgement and ethics below the acceptable standard, resulting in immediate failure of the contract with WSG for Liberia and DRC respectively.
The respective airport authorities did not fully consult the necessary stakeholders and conduct prior to due diligence- in Liberia the local businesses refused the tariff increase required to pay Wsg- in DRC the RVA were in revolt against partial privatisation, ongoing non payment of salary and benefits arrears and poor working conditions. Wsg were chosen as they may have been willing to ignore these irregularities and proceed with half baked contracts- it’s unclear how Wsg would have coped with non payment of Monrovia fees or dissatisfied RVA agents
It does not bode well
Yrabs, some might argue that starving the creature might produce a much leaner fitter result. Better suited to that runway or window for that matter. :)
I see there appears to have been some mischief within the public procurement departments over in Liberia ……… !
Must be a pungent whiff of corruption for the US Dept of Treasury to be implementing the Magnitsky act;

Interesting to see the MD of the National Ports Authority being sanctioned…………… |o:
Bilge… the answer to all is… yes….. the lipstick wearing, scantily clad pig parrot is actually a dog… on a ventilator but without vital signs… some are looking for the plug to switch him off…. However, there are another group of experts that say that pig parrots with a dog strain can actually survive even after starving themselves of cash for 12 months… B
Yrabs, So is it a parrot that's dead? Is it a parrot-pig that's dead? Is it a parrot-pig that's not actually dead but instead wearing a dress, oh and spendies and lipstick and standing on a runway? Should we warn the said badly dressed parrot-pig that that's not a safe place to stand? Clearly your not expecting the parrot-pig to take off so should the runway have actually been a catwalk or perhaps a knocking shop window?
£5m reoccurring revenue for a £3.5m company are already excellent figures
Revenue expected to increase greatly in H2
Contract is worth £100,000 over what length time, and what profit 4 wsg, afraid lot more bigger contracts needed this tiny revenue 4 wsg, talking about moving back into profit, wait and see, lot promises over many years and never delivered,
£13M……B
JL…. A pig is still a pig, even when you put it in a dress… Try looking at the bigger picture, rather than a dead pig making death throws…. WSG maybe 20% up for the week, based on hitting the lowest price in its history… but it is still 80% down in a year… and that high was 6p. !!!…..so before you buy the Lamborghini, think about longer than a 5 day streak where bottom feeders hoovered up 10 or 20% gains… I won’t say bargain, coz it ain’t…. Pete needs more than 1 tiny contract to turn this around…. As someone said the other day, he still thinks he will make £1 in revenue this year…. He now is up to £4M plus whatever he made between July and August…. Which is not a lot……Have a nice bank holiday everyone. B
20% up this week despite all the negativity and lies from bitter ex holders or holders who thought WSG were cheap at 10p.
Another contact in the bag and a week closer to Q4
Interesting day. On the contract, potentially one of many and probably more than just a sale so possibly some rr. On the reason for the rise in the last three days, (not just today), it wasn't jonny it was Iran. Odd that nobody mentioned that except to say it wont happen. Mitsy thought it was leaky bum time, odd again when it was Iran. Someone sold 700k just when we all knew that was bound to happen. Johnny B Goode.
CrystalBallBroke: Yep. Tried to sell through AJ Bell but can't without resorting to phone trade for some reason. So, back in the bottom drawer. Iran will never happen so our only (slim) hope is that the Saudi bigwig (cant remember his name or royal connection) blackmailing one of his countrymen into signing a huge long-term deal. But the silence from that direction has been deafening.
Good to see you still chipping in Foxy. It's been a long trail for some of us still left on here. I always try to see the best in people and for years made the observation that WSG was the unluckiest company in the world. But I have to admit now that Peter Fowler has mental health issues. A Walter Mitty character, he sincerely believes that his company is a world leader in its field and that, despite the headwinds of dealing in the two-thirds world, he is doing a grand job. Either that or ... (libel laws restrain me from completing). Next year Rodders ... we'll be down to 0.5p
Lol foxy , and there goes Johnny

Brilliant post........
The typical AIM chorus of brand new di(khêad$ rising on the morn’ of a sunny RNS. Never-before heard, yet bought their nest at the bottom and manage to sell at the ask.
So worldly wise and confidently researched for such new appearances - and entirely dismissive of those who’ve flown their path before them.
Thankfully by 10.00, the sun is risen and the dew burned off and the lesser spotted di(khêad falls quiet….
Thanks Aiming… so £98k then….lol….B
