not sure
There's no need to panic about this 10% drop on a day like this. I am sure this company is worth holding as a long term investment
This should have gone to £3 minimum today!!
Good results strong growth but these markets do not line 'in line with expections' shares showing strong results but not exceeding forecasts are being dragged down (+FTSE down as well) Thought this might happen today nothing appears to have changed long term prospects! My stop will be hit today and expect PAYS will be drop today as well so might have but more there!
The marketplace is saturated with companies after Worldpay business customers right now. Competitors are offering exceptionally good deals as well to businesses I am been cautious and waiting to see interim results later in the year.
The overall sentiment drags the price down. I am buying more
Down approz 15p atm - unfortunate about shareprice reversal on good news! However, FTSE 100 market is down as well!
Despite the fast growing space we're in. This is going down today. At least it shows how Paysafe is outperforming the market in the medium term at least.
· Substantial progress on our strategy, with our presence strengthened and deepened in our chosen growth markets · Growth in all key customer segments with 13.1 billion transactions processed (up 14%) and transaction value of £401.9bn (up 9%) · Significant investment in new and innovative products for our customers worldwide, including enhanced mobile offerings, fraud prevention tools and data analytics · New technology platform build substantially completed; customer on-boarding to commence in summer 2016 · Global eCom and UK divisions outperformed against expectations; good revenue performance in US division but costs of transformation higher than expected · Successful completion of £2.5bn IPO; new committed financing; inaugural issue of €500m senior unsecured notes · Strong financial performance in 2015, in line with guidance given at the IPO · Good start to 2016, in line with expectations; guidance for the medium term unchanged "We made significant operational and financial progress in 2015. It was a year of considerable achievement, in the implementation of our strategy, in strengthening and deepening our market presence, capabilities and technology, and helping our customers prosper. The Group has made a good start to 2016, in line with expectations, and these results provide a strong platform for continued growth over the medium term." Philip Jansen, Chief Executive Officer
"Strong financial performance in 2015, in line with guidance given at the IPO"
I am pretty sure results gonna be really positive
Lets hope so it would be very disspointing if results were poor or the outlook was reduced so soon after the IPO! Am sure they will post good results hopefully the market will like them.
Is disappointing. I too had hoped for a rally into the close but given the lack of guidance in the form of post Christmas trading update I think this is entirely understandable. As we are only 6 months from the IPO the investor relations at WPG have been poor. Let's hope tomorrow makes up for it.
my thoughts as well. thought it would have risen before results day tomorrow. hoping for a good set of results, hopefully a nice rally up to £3.00 before close would be nice
Results tomorrow bit disappointing to see this heading down day before results! Am hoping the results are good/outstanding or could see a much further drop! Been pretty range bound last few weeks. Times article sounded good read
The Times today has Worlpay as a buy, good article, worth reading.
Does anyone have any idea of what we can expect in terms of growth in sales, profits and a potential dividend?
I thought this would have risen in the build up to results but its fairly static.
Double digit growth again
IP3LY. Thanks for the info. Still want to see an RNS
@ Rugs : March 8th 2016 is the Full Year Report
Added some more this morning due to improved risk sentiment. Target is 330p for now.
yesterday. Over 60 mio purchased late afternoon. Surely we can expect an RNS in the next few days. Anybody know what is happening ?
Maybe, knocked back a lot of progress the share has made but then the wider market has issues so can't be too harsh. On a separate not I see these WorldPay contactless machines a lot more frequently now when out, must bode well for the future no?
Supprised by the drop today seems a bit over done... Maybe it's time for a top up.. ;) GLA
