Very slow day today.
Seems it's just a waiting game now.
Good luck holders.
Hopefully get some news in the next couple of weeks.

That is correct and south sudan there is no war and thats where wildcat have opened there temporary office also.
RNS Number : 2020L
Wildcat Petroleum PLC
04 September 2023
RNS Reach Announcement 4 September 2023
Wildcat Petroleum Plc
("Wildcat" or the "Company")
WILDCAT PETROLEUM OPENS OFFICE IN JUBA, SOUTH SUDAN
The current political unrest in the Republic of Sudan which flared up on the 15th April has not fully resolved itself. However the Sudanese oil industry infrastructure has not been affected and the oil fields located around the Sudanese town of Heglig are still in operation. Since the start of the unrest, South Sudan has actually doubled the amount of oil it is pumping through Sudan's pipelines to the Port of Sudan on the Red Sea.
Following extensive consultation with the Director General of the Sudanese Oil and Production Authority (OEPA) the Company will be opening a temporary base of operations in the South Sudan capital Juba.
The Director General will liaise with his counterparts in the South Sudan Ministry of Petroleum in order to facilitate Wildcat's cross border access to the oil fields in the Republic of Sudan. This will mean that once Wildcat has signed an oil contract with OEPA it will be able to get personnel and equipment unhindered to the Sudanese oil fields through South Sudan.
Wildcat will access the oil fields around the town of Heglig by flying to the airport at the Unity oil field (South Sudan) and then crossing the border by land to Heglig in Sudan. The above map (which should be treated as an historical document) indicates the location of these fields
The company would like to thank NIYAT Co for providing access to office facilities whenever required in Juba (at the UAP Equatorial Tower)
OEPA is the Sudanese government department that is responsible for the negotiation and awarding of oil contracts. A special thank you goes to the Director General of OEPA for continuing to work with Wildcat under the current difficult conditions.
Quick geography lesson -
Sudan and South Sudan are two different countries.
There's been a cease fire in SS since 2018. There's even a British Embassy in SS still operating.
The British Embassy in Sudan is closed due to the conflict.
F1driver - you 𤔠you got spiked in WCAT and deramping every single other shares which goes upš I bet your mate Ria20 left you š
This is really positive.
Great find ART š thanks for sharing.
Interestingly Zenith Energy (ZEN)are also now also operating in South Sudan, and they too don't appear to be too worried about the political situation.
They released an RNS yesterday, announcing a Memorandum of Understanding with Nile Services and Logistics Company Ltd ("Nile SLC") in the Republic of South Sudan.

The last few paragraphs are the important ones that are relevant here:
Andrea Cattaneo, Chief Executive Officer, commented:
"This represents a complementary enrichment of our core focus, which fully remains the acquisition and successful development of oil, gas, and electricity production assets.
It is our view, supported by our progressive establishment in-country, that there exist many commercially attractive opportunities in South Sudan, and that it is an attractive jurisdiction for foreign investors.
To this end, I am pleased to confirm that we are currently in the advanced phase of negotiating the potential acquisition of certain oil exploration and development licenses located in South Sudan."
If no deal was happening it would of been called off by now.talks have been ongoing even after the war started and ceo was very optimistic in November interview that deal can be done.
Look at Sudan ffs
Country is in rife itās nearly ballooning into a full scale war
Nice purchase jojo.
I'm in for 2.6mil shares at 0.25p and can't put anything else in atm.
Bit disappointed in the retrace, but confident it will recover.
Looks like you're set to make a mint if this goes the right way.
Good luck.
Another 8k top-up for me,had to be in 2 lots
Hopefully...
It's got a little lower than my 0.16 prediction and a bit quicker than I thought as well.
But fingers crossed we get some news soon and a deal is signed.
Also hope the situation in Sudan improves and gets resolved swiftly.
Bottom looks to be in - onwards and upwards from here :))
How is old news relevant? What impact does that news youāve shared have on Wildcat?
Weāve had updates since, so what youāve shared is irrelevant.
Youāre wasting your time.
Report for what exactly? What LSE rule is being broken in posting relevant news from the region?
Well said Janiax
Itās not even current news, itās two months old. Clearly has an agenda. Just report and filter.
@Ramp_Watcher
What's your goal here?
Raising awareness of the terrible things happening in Sudan is fine, but anyone investing in Wildcat should already be aware of the political situation in the country.
You've been in these boards for 2 years, have 20 posts off which most are on Wildcat and all of those have been dedicated to saying it's worth nothing. Even before anything in Sudan this year.
It seems you have an agenda and are using the current situation to further it.
What's happening in Sudan is awful, and I really hope the UN can help resolve it, and protect innocent people there.
Wildcat may still be able to get an agreement with Sudan which will be good for both the country and wildcat going forward though, only time will tell.

Sounds like what they need is a UK company to turn up and take their oil money for nothing
Same here our people on the ground are nowhere near karthoum as thatās where all the unrest is happening - hence the relocation toward the South Sudan border !
As shown he has since flown into the country and did the interview around the same time, the latest interview is the latest update. They only released an RNS as the share price was up over 60% and didnt want it to get away.
Still expecting signature prior to Christmas.
Thanks for posting that link, I hadn't seen an update on the site I'm looking at.
Absolutely atrocious what's going on there currently.
I hope the UN do step up and get more involved.

I donāt think the Chairman helped when he referenced the 25th October announcement in the latest RNS, which states:
ā As reported in the interim statement the Company was focused on signing a Production Sharing Agreement (PSA) with the Sudanese government over at least one of Block 1,3,4 and 5 by the end of 2023. Unfortunately, this is now very unlikely to happen in 2023, in a large part as a consequence of the attempted coup in the country on 15 April 2023 which has meant it has been extremely difficult to fly into the country and that remains to be the case.ā
Weāve had updates since to show that heās flown into the country and in the 1st Nov RNS he stated āTHE COMPANY IS FULLY BACK ON TRACKā and ā AS PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED, WILDCAT PLANS TO SIGN A SPECIFIC OIL DEVELOPMENTAL DEAL WITH THE SUDANESE GOVERNMENT, BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR.ā.
But the market clearly donāt like the fact heās referenced the RNS that states the deal wonāt be signed in 2023. He should follow up with some clarification on this to reassure investors.
