I'm a fan of VOD, but how on earth do they come to a fair value of £7.60?
Not in any way shooting the messenger by the way, thanks for sharing NewSid!
Nice one Fred
Stockopedia moved VOD to superstock & simplywallstreet put VOD fair value @ £7.60.
I will go for 136.7
Thanks Rob
GLA
back to that discussion last week, Gary says he has sold all his shares and will rebuy at a later time, and Fleccy says there has never been a better time to buy or stay invested
With all prices going up due to inflation, won't that make the sp rise as well ?, i know people will cut down on non essentials such as netflix , but people will still have to insure their cars, and the younger people i work with would give up eating and heating before they would give up their phones, house prices are going into reverse, but share prices there are very low right now, so expect there will be some winners and losers, will leave you experts to decide
nice one Soton, are you going to be this weeks top ramper, we will find out later this evening, hope you win
Dan, Mole is not the enemy, we need constructive opposition, we just need to see the sp rise, as that's the only way we can change his mind, so come on cheapshares we all want you to be right, 1.70 sounds good to me, so, might have to have a dip in the paddling pool later to cool down
good luck all, and stay safe in this heat
Nice one Fred......winner again....Rob can you put me down for 140 think it's gonna fly this week just stumbled across this

Well done Fred on winning this week.
Next Friday close sp I will go 1.27
Thanks Rob and all ...
Virgin Media 02 has submitted an offer to buy TalkTalk that would value the Salford-based company at about £3bn including debt.
The proposal comes months after TalkTalk's owners hired Lazard to explore a potential sale of the company.
Hi Dan
Sorry but do not have spare funds to invest, and need to stick with my PSN long term plan.
Have cost myself quite a few quid trying to trade POLY and now bailed out.
Just like to keep an eye on the markets and enjoy the banter here.
As you say VOD holding up well - and beating PSN hands down over the last few mnths since I started my little ISA.
Maybe one day when PSN has recovered I can look at coming back to VOD !
Cheers - C
Come on C.S.D.I. When are you going to buy some vod shares? I know you are dying to, sell those those rubbish shares you hold,& put all the money in a proper company like vodafone. When are you going to stop being a C.S.D.I? Cheers mate.
Come on robleo. Stop supporting the evil mole-man (boo hiss) 1.15 ? No way? Negative or what ?? Come on mole, give us a good reason why the vod sp will fall to 1.15 any time soon? We all like you really????
Fred & csdi, your welcome guys, and thanks for taking part and everyone else, csdi, i was thinking of giving myself an award for being the biggest underachiever, just can't win it myself, and have been holding back from topping up on any shares, until two days ago, then decided to top up on dlg and phnx, and guess what yesterday they both took a big hit about 12 percent on dlg and 5 on pheonix
https://www.msn.com/en-gb/money/other/car-insurers-see-shares-tumble-as-sabre-warns-over-hit-from-soaring-costs/ar-AAZzqD2?fromMaestro=true
can i share your id mate, not going to be selling vod, but think mole is right about good prospects with psn for the future,
maybe i should have topped up on vod instead as it's the only one holding up at the moment, strong possibility for it to grow perhaps
good luck all
Thanks Rob for all your good work on this fun competition.
Fred is turning into a genius with his medals stacking up.
Do I qualify for a share of the Bronze medal this week, to add to my tally ?
The sun is coming out next week so I am expecting VOD to shine - all the way up to ...... 130p
GLA - C

Still in positive about Vodafone Dan, can only see it going higher, has been holding up very well against all the turmoil that's been going on, it's just my other shares that are takiing a beating, had a 15 percent drop with directline yesterday,so don't worry, i am still vod top ramper at the moment::-)
I am surprised you think now may be a bad time to buy. I agree with fleccy, that now is a good time to buy vodafone. Perhaps you are being over cautious? Then again I could be over optimistic? What happened to rob the ramper? You sounded very positive a few days ago. Good luck.
1.50P in 3 months time.
so yeah if you ask me target is 170p in the short/mid term (whatever that means, for me that is sort of 6-12 months no more).
VOD old range WAS 100-140p some people notice the change after.
Anyway, the new range is going to get this up to 170p ish.
There is clear pressure building towards 130p which will break at some point.
It's pretty easy to see unless if you are mole.
Always happy Gary, but struggling with the share optimism at the moment after some big hits, but as Fleccy and mole say there will be some good investing opportunity's, in the near future hopefully, just don't think that time has arrived yet
cheers
"So I have a decent wedge ready to invest when I feel it's advantageous to do so."
You'll be hard pushed to find a better time than now to invest in UK stocks, unless there's another pandemic. The UK has been hammered since the Brexit vote, with many stocks hitting lows in the midst of the pandemic. Vodafone is probably as as cheap as it'll get. The FTSE has pretty much flatlined over the last 5 years, so is already massively discounted compared to the US. If you're looking at investing in the US though, then you might get lucky down the road.

Rob always makes me smile with his optimism, I wish there was more of it.
You're a real team player mate I'd have had you in my footie team very game way back when I could play.
As for G, I'm out of all shares now except IMB currently, I sold my last 9,000 VOD last week.
So I have a decent wedge ready to invest when I feel it's advantageous to do so.
I have to keep Mrs G fed & watered after all!
Good luck all in these strange times.
Mole, not sure it's a good time to buy anything yet, it's like anything else, if you can get that timing right you can do well, get it wrong and it will just take you down with it, so when are these bottom prices going to be, judging by the way everything is going down, i think we are a long way off yet, and think it's going to be a very very bad time for investors for several months to come yet, at least that's the way it's going for all of my shares, don't know about yours or the rest of you guys ?, just hoping the dividends will not get reduced or cut
Oh moley - I do hope you're right on that one - with no disrespect to all the VODders here.
Somehow PSN is in a real bind now - the only way is down atm.
One day the tide will change but don't know when.
As you say, when it does, it will outperform VOD but in the meantime VOD has held up superbly.
Since the RUS invasion of UKR, VOD is up about 10%, while PSN is down 25% - as I know to my cost.
I am hoping that on the basis that every dog has its day, that PSN will recover. I don't expect a return to £32 and likewise I cannot see VOD getting back to £2. My view FWIW is that VOD is a share to trade within the range 100-140p.
I think Patient had a good trading run last year, with numerous batches of small percentage gains.
Anyway, best not to take any notice of me as my moniker CSDI suggests !
GLA - C
I’ll wager you’ll get your money back faster by selling up VOD and rebuying your PSN.
