I dont believe they are taken seriously.
Had a good rise 2 weeks ago but looks destined for new lows.
They simply have no direction the market place is interested in.
They had a chance to make a fresh direction but instead chose to promote from a team that had an amazing track record in destroying Shareholder valueless and true to form they are delivering on this. Interesting they still get paid a huge amount.
The SP drops on that news!
Absolutely ludicrous and blatant manipulation.
Vodafone does not even operate in the States! Any excuse...
Maybe the drop is due to The Fool recommending it in a write up ‘this morning I know as I do myself people ar fearful of his recommendations .
Totally agree PFen. What on earth is going on? The Board don't seem to even try to get the SP moving up. It's just silence from them week after week, meanwhile shareholders are losing their shirts! I just hope something positive is coming out way for a change.
Hello
The inverted belly fart showing on the chart from last week is in play
Dunno where jaxi50 is but I has put 'timber' for him.
I hopes he likes it.
As the company slowly but consistently moves dien there no point in a good dividend the the share simply drops by the dividend and dome on the day and never recovers.
Not sure WTF the board are doing to salvage the situation but there appears to be no hope at present and 1blue day in 10 just isn't good enough.
PR1K - I has found Google is very helpful if you want to know anything about dividend dates...
PRK. Google dividend max. Declaration date. 14/nov. ex divi date, 23/nov. payment date 2/feb 2024. If you want a guide to how much the divi will be, you can sign up to divi max on a free trial.
Good Morning PRK .
If you click on Vodafone financial tab it has all dates you requested.
As for the Dividend if you go to DIvidendmax .com you can calculate Divi .

Hi folks. Can anyone clue me in regarding when the dividend, or lack of one, is announced? I know the half year results are due mid November
ForensicBloo, unfortunately it only takes one or two who want to disrupt to spoil what was a good board, a very low share price seems to attract them, but it is a public board, let's hope the share price rises and hopefully they will go away

I’m not really sure what people expect other than a difference of opinions long and short. Unless anyone has insider info they are going to share… Jax and his mate gutter are going to give Ant and dec a run for their money…
Robleo,
This joke of a chat board has been boring for months.
4 year olds have more constructive conversations.
Nice steady rise stateside tonight. Let's hope it continues this side of the pond tomorrow. Maybe we can get back into the 80s. 🤞
Gutter, give it a rest that's getting boring now
Think Desperate Dans new chum Stumpy has taken to drink.
robleo, can you say the soothing words to Desperate Dan so he can go to sleep.
I has not got the energy to talk about the plastic annus tonight, been on the road today.
Stupmy, i have a pretty good life thanks, i may not be making much profit on the stock market right now, but the most important thing for me is that i don't lose money, it's just a matter of holding and collecting dividends for me until we see the share prices rising again, good luck to you if your making a profit from the frequent trading i just don't think that's the right way for me
gl
robleo, juist ******* talk to me robleo. you do not have tol live that life! what's wrong with your guys?
I was open and I tried daniel,.
Dan, i just wish i was as good an investor, if i buy the price drops if i sell it goes up, oh dear what can i do ?, i know a lot of posters here are invested in the same shares as myself and they are not doing very well Lloyds my biggest investment has been a big disappointment along with others, when i transferred by pension from hsbc to a Sipp in 2014 being completely new to the stock market it seemed i couldn't do anything wrong everything i invested in was making money
totally different world we are living in right now though, let's hope we don't have to wait too long for this bull market
cheers mate
Stupmy. Unless you know better than others, you don't have an edge. They have the edge. Not rocket science, just common sense. ("althought I bought the book as ai''m a reader). KISS".) Sorry I can't make any sense from that comment, but good luck mate with your reocket(sic) science, you need it!
robleo, the 'lot of is the basic mistake' i'm doing fine. i'm not getting rich overnight, but every year, i'm getting a bit more and that bit more is starting to add up. i'm not a **** or buster. i try to avoid the stories/aim. i just go boring, boring, boring and shave a bit.
i get it that trusting good fund manageres can give a good profit. i just like to be keep it all down to me to be honest. hbr is an example (that looks good, not all do). i enter and exit based on charsts and it keeps bobbing about, up an down and each time i make money. if you held in a fund, you'd take the divis, but make nothing int growth. others, not so pretty so not interested in bull****. i'm heavily exposed to enq and it's way off for the moment.
Daniel, I don't think I know any better than anyone else. That's my edge! Utter simplicity. I'm no genious, don't need reocket science (althought I bought the book as ai"m a reader). KISS
Stupmy, i do hope you are making a lot of profit from that as it seems like a lot of work and very high risk
For myself I'm going in the opposite direction moving more back into funds all of my 8 funds are in profit and most have returned around 50% over the last 5 years and that's taking into account they grew by 60% from 2018 to jan 2022 and have currently dropped back by 10% making it around 50% gain in 5 years
my shares on the other hand are all currently in loss, getting a 7-8 or 9% dividend sounds very appealing but if your losing a similar amount or more on your capital its not so great, don't intend selling all my shares just reducing the amount when they come back to a sellable price, but everyone's circumstances are different
