This has been rising for few days...
didn't get time to post.
well done
Scratch that. It's on again lol. Must have been a huge order?
Seems IG have stopped Live Trading and changed it to Call In only to Close.
Not sure if they're taking any more Spread bets on this stock?
I bought in at 0.30. Just closed half of my position before it changed.
Can see this breaking through 0.90 and settling at 1.2 - 1.3 by Friday
This rebound is due to the good inflation figures released by the FED recently and all of the non revenue/profit generating stocks im watching are rising as well because the market anticaptes the financing drought might be coming to a close. I'm not thrilled however as I wanted to see a bigger housing market crash.
I think the fact we have this big buyer (or many by the looks of the volume) suggests something has actually changed... something is afoot for sure. Might be just the market-makers being asked to pull it up to 2p so they can do another fund-raise..
My concern is that apart from this big buyer, nothing has actually changed. It seems to be alot of ifs and maybes.
They're not listed as an exhibitor on the website for the conference. That's not to say they won't be there pitching for backing etc..
Agree it was overdone. CVLS are better off without the CLNs.
If VLS are in attendance at the ICAO Aviation and Alternative Fuels Conference in Dubai this weekend, you can guarantee this will fly from here (pun very much intended)
There does seem to be a lot of confident chunky buys. Perhaps the drop from 1p at the end of October was just seriously overdone?
We're working towards the apex of a symmetrical triangle here on the 5-min chart, we could break higher by 11.30.. potentially could take it to 1p or higher
Our buyer is back, he's now buying in 1-1.2m chunks (roughly same value as 2m at 0.4-0.5p).. let's see where he takes it..
John077, basically what I said earlier re. the CLN and the RNS..
Tbf, all the rns said was that the CLN was not proceeding (CLN's are pants anyway so probably better off without it).
The other potential investors were still doing their DD and funding would be required by the end of the year (Nothing new here, it was all previously rns'ed in interims etc).
So investors still on the table for funding but the CLN was a no go. Not sure that merited a -70% drop in the first place.
The insiders need to make sure they have filled their boots before they release that information Moab!
Where a company sees large price fluctuations, as here, isn't it usual to put out an RNS stating that VLS is unaware of any reason why / is in discussions with another party etc,.etc,. or is that too much to expect?
The thing which has always been at the back of my mind regarding VLS is the political dimension. Is the UK government really going to let domestic SAF production go to the dogs, thereby putting us entirely at the mercy of overseas suppliers? I could be wrong, but my feeling is that they won't let VLS fail, and if push comes to shove, they'll bail 'em out.
0.90 paid.
2m buyer has been coming in around 9.30-10am, so patience..
Gapped above the 2-day MA on the open, the 61.8% fibo taken out, and we're now breaching the top of the downtrend it's been in since 2022.. Almost yesterday's total volume done by 9.15am, could be another 30-40m day. We are now basically scraping the previous lows from before the drop, the 37-day MA just holding it for now at 0.82p.. The 9-week MA at 0.90p is the next hurdle to overcome (also the previous support level), the 9-week has capped it and kept the pressure on to the downside for over a year.
Why the big bounce? Well, the drop may well have been a massive over-reaction.. down to less than a £5m market cap?? As I said a few weeks ago, the strength of the bids at that level showed that this wasn't dead in the water, someone or several people still believed in this business.
They iterated in their RNS that other ongoing discussions were still taking place, companies were doing due diligence etc. Just because that deal fell through with the convertible note, doesn't mean other avenues are being explored.
And yes, my gut feeling is this could be being lined up for a takeover - even if they paid 4p a share, they are getting the company for under £65m, a bargain if the long-term future of the business is secured and they can start to deliver on the promise. I hope for 4p a share at least, averaged down to 1.7p from much higher during the drop, will be glad to make a nice return on this and get out!
My target for now is still 1.27-1.30p.. If you'd have followed my Fibonacci ramblings since this was around 40p last week, you'd be up about 120%... #letsgo #casino
I know what you mean, Drax. We should beware of the false dawn. But the flip side is that it can be dumb not to jump on a train that seems to be picking up speed. I sold a lot of my VLS some way back. My small remaining position was down by about 70% last week. But when I saw the rally, I did double my position yesterday. It's still a pretty small position, but right now I'm heading towards break even. If this rally is based on some mega news which is not yet released, or whatever, then VLS is a stock that could potentially go rocket-ship.
Or her, obvs.
Doing ok without him tbf
Need our chunky buyer to wake up and get out of bed
Thanks Drax very kind, lol.
I know the moment I buy more it'll drop like a stone. I'm doing you all a favour, and not adding to my investment. 2.8 average here.
I'm simply lost for words on the rebound here.
