It was certainly a big part of it. The beauty of this is that stale holders who have had no liquidty to exit can, whilst those wanting to get in can. I personally believe that now is the time to keep buying as the hard work has been done and we will now reap the rewards, but people sell for lots of different reasons. This exchange of shares is extremely healthy, especially as the price is rising into it nicely. Looking for another solid week next week as further contracts and coverage must be close as we come more and more to peoples attention.
Presumably that's what caused the jump..?
Lovely buy at full ask reported late.
Great finish to the week. Hit the 12 month high, let's hope the momentum stays. GLA
Well, it's good to end the week on a high above 6p. There does seem to be some steady momentum building and long may it continue.
More upward momentum today. People are beginning to get what vipera is about. About time. The valuation is still far too cheap and out of kilter with the sector, but at least the market is now waking up to the fact.
Very interesting video with Non Exec Director Jeremy Nichols from Vipera being interviewed
Vipera is pleased to announce that it has been invited to join the newly-launched Mastercard Digital Vendor Directory, a list of less than 40 companies globally “that offer solutions to help Mastercard customers more easily and quickly digitise card portfolios and deploy their Masterpass-enabled Digital Wallets”. We look forward to working with issuers to accelerate their digital payment strategy.
Looking good. Bound to meet the odd resistance on the way up, but going the right way.
Crikey, two clicks - cooking on gas!
The case of Imagination Tech shows just how being too reliant on a small client base can devastate a business when it all goes pear-shaped. It can be difficult not to concentrate too much on major clients, especially when there's a good relationship, but the sooner VIP gains other major business clients, the better! I do feel positive about the direction of travel though.
Also, i know i keep in about it, but being valued at one and a half revenue in the fintech industry is just way too cheap on any sort of metrics.
Hi Davwal, They have been slowly doing that over the past year and will hopefully pick up pace as the sales pipeline is very strong. When i went to the interims last year they had just put in place a bigger sales team and i think we are beginning to see its impact now. Thats why i expect more contracts shortly to be announced. If one loks at the mabagements background, they would see that wevare in very good hands. They certainly have a vision of how mobile banking is changing and have reacted in advance to be well positioned. We still need more private investor awareness but that side is coming as well. As you say though, i am sure they are pushing as hard as they can now to all of the newer challenger banks that are energing as well as the old guard. Very encouraging times.
Myguess, I think the big challenge (which I'm sure VIP is working on) is to break into a new/wider client base with its mobile banking products. Once they can achieve that breakthrough the business and investment world should take more notice.
Theres the tick up on the bid we were expecting.
Yesterday saw the ask increase in real terms at the end, despite the advertised ask staying the same. People were having to pay above it for readonable sized trades. Hopefully we will get more buying today to see that translate to the bid side. Word is definitely spreading as seen by the increase in the amount of trades lately.
I would recommend all would be investors to have a look at the vipera website. There are some excellent pieces on there regarding the mobile banking sector, and where it is heading. Mobile banking and the old traditional banking is changing fast, and Vipera have cleverly positioned themselves at the point of most advantage. We are just beginning to see the effects of this with the last contract win.
Nice to see the buying continuing today. If there has been a seller over the last few days then he is coming to an end as the ask is rising on each buy. When he is gone then every buy will move this up as share freefloat isnt big.Only chance is now to build a position because of this seller. Hopefully he will be out by Wed if the volume continues.
From a previous rns: 'Vipera (AIM: VIP), the specialist provider of mobile financial and retail services, is pleased to announce it has been selected to partner with Philips Lighting to complement its indoor positioning system. Philips Lighting, a global leader in lighting products, systems and services has announced its Location Lab partner program, which includes Vipera, to enable collaboration with industry leaders and start-ups to develop innovative applications of its highly accurate indoor positioning system'
From the Vipera website: 'Consumers can be guided to the retailer with the most relevant offer for them, be made aware of the smartest way to benefit from a financial review whilst queuing in the bank branch or find the nearest airport lounge during their downtime between flights. When combined with transaction analytics and the Motif platform, proximity marketing can be an especially rich and clearly personalised experience.' There is huge potential in this sphere for vipera, and i am sure we will hear more. We are already dealing with a european retailer so i would expect more to come from this arena.
It is a bit galling at times, but i just try and add in these situations and wait for it to stick. That way i gradually increase at a decent average. The vauation at the moment is inly 1.5 revenue, which is much too cheap. Its a solid hold and a chance to build a decent position. One more dolid contract should really get us established in peoples minds. Good to see the solid buying today.
Myguess, just seems a shame that the price, which had only moderately reflected recent good news releases is knocked back so quickly. At some point the gains have to stick and then kick on, but as you say if they can get a run of new contracts that should happen.
Davvwal, there is prob a seller in the background. Once he is clear then the buys will have their effect. Happy to let people in and out at this price as it's a good base for further news. It's nice to have the liquidity here to allow this to happen and is healthy. If people buy and hold for a reasonable period then we will see a proper valuation when the news comes from the contract pipeline that appears to have been unplugged and is now flowing. I think that the bod have finally got the idea of or and are beginning to like it!
So how does that work..? A good day of virtually all buying and the SP drops. Who's controlling the price?
