Not necessarily for day traders. But those wishing to make substantial gains and those who have held should wait until the end of the Sep.
Would be risky to sell before Sep 30, IMO. Profit is profit but am too curious to see what the preferred buyout offer will be.
From RNS in June
Potential buyers then submitted non-binding proposals to Evercore for the Board's consideration which comprised expressions of interest for the Company as a whole as well as for parts of the Company.
As a result, the Board is now engaged in detailed discussions with certain parties about the sale of the Company (whether as a whole or in parts), with the aim of concluding this activity before 30 September 2018 as previously communicated in our announcement dated 15 March 2018.
Easy. Parts of the business may be sold. What happens then? I'm in but if they don't sell the whole business then what price are we looking at?
6p*
You're right! I've used a number of valuation models and I get a figure in the range of about 18p - 25p. So yeah 6pm seems a massively discounted value.
If the takeover could be in the region of 30p why are we trading at 6p, surely it's worth a punt.
worth reading the other board-the one that begins with a and ends with n .A poster there called timbo is well on top of this story......
Absolutely agree
All we need is 2 (or more ??!!) potential suitors to want what we have and who knows........
Am one of the lucky ones here & just about even, but certainly have no doubts (at the moment anyway) that this will provide a handsome reward.

Cheers

Considering the SP though has gained substantially from announcement of sale process, I think we're dealing with a good level of uncertainty here. Big Pharmas are yes desperate for new medicines, but VER SP has been moving so much it is difficult to foresee at which level will a first offer come in. Hoping for a bid war to help us towards the upper end of the forecast.
GLA!
Yes.. i was giving up on LSE but yesterday took the edge off many stocks. Tried advfn.....they're something different, like kids in a lunatic asylum. If you say or post anything positive...you're a traitor. (advfn...into Room 101)
Any other sad people with much better things to do on a Saturday morning looking at the now nearly back to normal lse BB????
Well, the pause for breath has been a little longer than I expected, expecting an increase next week
My purchase has appeared as a sell priced at 7.94. Pretty even today, I am sure it will start to rise again, its just paused for breath
...loadsa sells today...hmmmm?
Thanx for the post. This could prove to be very interesting and rewarding
VERnalis is in a takeover situation, it will be worth the wait for a good outcome?
All the suitors have signed non-disclosure agreements and multiple “detailed discussions” are now underway. :)
Bid/s underway...disclosure form 8.5 https://www.investegate.co.uk/shore-capital-stockbrokers-lim/gnw/shore-capital-stockbrokers-limited---form-8-5-----/20180620091601H0274/ https://woodfordfunds.com/investing/terms-glossary/forms-8-3-8-5/
..i never like to be 'all-in'...that's how investors go skint. If their main investment tanks ie sell on news, they panic, sell at a loss, repeat repeat. Instead ofspreadingb the risk. I haven't completely sold out of any share since Xmas, except FCR and HER, BUT I often take a piece off the top. That is how i am able to expand my portfolio. And all in my ISA http://pumpedordumped.com/rampchecker/rampchecktopramper.php This list only has half of my holdings on display, if i don't post for a few days it is taken out, as if i had sold...not true
