OK cool then the SP is well valued and shouldn’t rise much more
The 1p that you're getting confused with is the nominal value of the shares, it has no bearing on the market value which, at the time of IPO, were 50p
500000 x 50p = £250k ??
Do the math 500000 x 50p
Stop digging the hole kitty, you are not understanding it correctly :)
But by all means you can invest £250,000 in to VELA shares of 0.01 pence each at 50p too if you want and think you will have millions.
Jesus are you joking it says at a price of 50p per share
Bye
Haha you need to do some basic learning. You def aren’t right
https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/VELA/investment-of-163250000-in-mode-global-holdings-plc-9nrvx6nby01htrp.html
You had me doubting it
I don’t need to google anything. I know how to read an rns, I know what the list price was of mode and therefore know what the value of vela’s investment is.
So I accept the apologies from the less intelligent inexperienced investors as it was pre IPO funding at 1p
IM RIGHT - read RNS!
“ Vela has invested £250,000 in Mode, from the Company's existing cash resources. Vela has subscribed for 500,000 new ordinary shares of 1p pence each in Mode, at a price of 50p per share, valuing Mode at £40.3 million. “
You only have to look at who’s in charge, James normand is very reputable
Nomura go google Series A, B, C .... funding in pre IPO startups
NEVER make a decision based on any BB post
Too many idiots incl Me as a prime example
I smell bs. But whatever
SomersetUK dyor this is a good investment - dont let the BB put you off
If they had preferred early series funding then yes. Happens all the time in US startups. I misread they were 1p presuming the got an investment round pre IPO. Simple mistake.
So you thought mode 50 bagged in a couple of weeks!? Come on man.
I read as 1p so apologies if it was 50p - honest mistake
SomersetUK - If you do your own research then surely you can judge whether you should invest money in VELA or not.
Calm down yourself ya rocket.
‘Our COVID cure’ seriously?
Another totally misleading statement.
Guys, I was seriously considering investing a lot in this tomorrow but this now looks like coordinated professional ramping.
Why is the AGM on the 29th not being live streamed for investors to watch ?
Hope they announce this very soon.
I quote: ‘ Vela has invested £250,000 in Mode, from the Company's existing cash resources. Vela has subscribed for 500,000 new ordinary shares of 1p pence each in Mode, at a price of 50p per share valuing Mode at £40.3 million.’
Not at 1p per share. At 50p per share.
