I could see a placing in the 03's not the 02's, but it is what it is. I also see this going to AIM.
Brushless who knows what is going on here. The treatment and communication towards shareholders since Steve Staley left has been appalling.
Since the shares have not been suspended one can only assume the results will be out by the end of the day or the grace period was longer than 2mths.
One thing is for certain it is all very odd. In a year when supposedly everything was going to be devoted to what was apparently a fantastic set of assets in Tunisia, we have heard nothing.
Shameful!!
I should add, that perhaps it's just a good gesture to send the happy Christmas e card from Bolhassan and perhaps I should be thankful and not moan about that. It just couldn't be worse timed with what feels like the demise of the company.
I'm stupidly still holding hope as I've done over the past number of years that something comes from this investment no matter how bad its been! Perhaps I'm mad!
Well, unless I'm wrong, today marks the last day of the year.
I had a few emails with Upland a couple of weeks ago, but I didn't report back as both I didn't have the opportunity and also the fact there wasn't any substance to report, or anything I believed.
I emailed three times as usual before I got a reply. Chris Pitman replied and said it is responsibility of Bolhassan to reply to investors.
Bolhassan replied and said Jeremy from Optiva will respond.
After no reply, Chris replied again and to the questions I asked said that when the accounts are published this year it might answer my questions.
Note the above he said this year. Which unless they turn up as intraday, the deadline has passed.
I also note, that Bolhassan sent me an email in reply with a picture (like an e card) wishing me a happy christmas etc.....why would he do that?! I've had little in the way of reply from him but an e card to say happy Christmas, that wipes out the thousands of pounds lost?!
In addition to the loss of £s, I'm now lost for words too......
What a crappy end to a crappy year.
I hope you all have a good new years celebrations, I guess it's time to reflect on what's been a terrible investment for all, and I hope that in 2022 you all find some gems to recoup losses.
Wishing you all the best
Sadly you could be right beyondcaring but someone has been buying in quantity.
I guess at the very least there will be a placing.
The end I guess
I guess whatever is to come it is not going to be good given the SP.
Hope something positively happens come Q1 2022.
GLA.
Absolute disgrace the lot of them.
Just wanna wish Bolhassen and the board a very Merry Christmas thank u so much for all the hard work and stunning progress
It's demise at this rate :-/
I thought that maybe the directors at UPL would have enough sense to atleast keep the remaining loyal shareholders up to date but obviously this hasn't been the case. Wonder what the next year will bring for UPL...
Looks like these muppets are going to take it to the wire.
Complete p**cks.
Mcap £3.2m not much more than a shell value. The company needs to get its act together. How can the Sarawakians take a company with this mcap serious when looking at bids for SK334?
Perhaps the company needs to sell its interests in Tunisia to raise capital, if anyone would be interested?

Have tweeted, but will it have any reaction?
has the little lad in accounting run out of fingers and thumbs. just as well they planned not to have a ceo, just imaging the burden of having to add that cost up for the annual accounts
Worrying. It's looking like they're in no rush to issue the accounts. 2 months in the maximum extension, not the extension.
Thanks. Yes indeed I think we would all like to know. It's hardly anything to do with not having the time as they had been doing sweet fa.
2 months. I'd like to know why this is necessary, as would others I guess.
So does anyone know how long these Muppets have to get the results out?
'or perhaps the clever ceos that have been approached took one look and smiled'
I'm not surprised they were smiling at the opportunity, it's a pity for them we just decided to keep the money.
I'll be disappointed if we don't have a new CEO after Sarawak and surrounds shake out..
''The decision not to bring in a new CEO has saved us a fortune in the last 12 months, seems clever''
or perhaps the clever ceos that have been approached took one look and smiled as they walked away.
For a bod to actively plan not to take a CEO on when advising they are looking for one when pitt was stood down . Is in itself a cause for concern
The delay in accounts for a non income bearing business which only has outgoings has proven too big a challenge for the wunder kid brought in along with Pitt, no wonder dr SS stood down within the month of this event.
I am hoping, and it is a huge wish that the company that dr SS is now chair of; will look at the assets he is more than familiar with and make a move. May be that 2022 will be more interesting.....if we are still listed.
The decision not to bring in a new CEO has saved us a fortune in the last 12 months, seems clever enough as they wait for the politics to catch up. Worth remembering insiders/cornerstone investors all still in play here, and have much more to win or lose than any of us.
Indeed.
Disappointed. To think that UPL was THE company to be invested in a few years ago.. today it has become the complete opposite because of the leadership...
