Not looking like anymore. Its finished below the placing. I'm not sure if that's due to a rotation into others stocks as Mr Market has been generous this week.
This is looking like it might drop below the placing price sgain
The shares are showing in the account but no notification or update. I did get all the extra I requested so just need to sort my other holding at some point but have a divi to fall back on whilst I wait.
Im not sure about underpaid and unappreciated. Maybe you have worked there so speak from experience although most people say they are underpaid and unappreciated even the one on yachts. I suppose I could ask the question next time I'm communicating with them.
I doubt any I-web staff are on a yacht, I think they are pretty much underpaid and unappreciated.
Thanks adv11.
I have received my dividend now so far so good. The separate corporate action holding for UKW has disappeared as of this morning but my share count remains the same as pre action.
Hopefully that means the cogs are turning and the account will be updated shortly. Either that or the bean counter is saying in a new yacht somewhere in the south of France!
You should have got your I-web allocation today Gerry - 100% of what you asked for (?). Not that they have bothered with a notification. I got my dividend on 29th.
I checked this morning on Iweb still showing as held in separate holding awaiting determination. Strangely the dividend isnt showing either yet Mrs 557 has her divi showing in her Iweb account.
Maybe the bean counters has a day off for Christmas shopping. Ill check again tomorrow.
Just looked in my HL account and yes they have been scaled back even though I didn't ask for many more, just to round up numbers. Not that bothered as I expect there will be more opportunities to top up in the new year.
My open offer entitlement was 310 shares but I requested (via Fidelity) 1410 and got all of them. Very happy
My new shares, also, are now visible with "ii". Unfortunately I too have been slightly scaled back. My excess request was about 16% the size of my "entitlement", and I got about 86% of it. Very slightly disappointing in that I'll now have to buy a very small number of extra shares in the market to get up to the nice "round" total I'd wanted, and also stay alert for return of the unused cash, but that's a risk one has to take when asking for an excess.
From jjcarrera1974's post below, and mine, it looks as if they've done the scaling-back on a % basis rather than a "number of shares" basis.
Regards, Mike.
Hi Old Brian, in my ii account now - got 85% of my excess request - hope that helps - J
Nothing happening in my HL account, although I did get the divi late on Friday. Cannot find anywhere information about the share allocations yet, maybe tomorrow.
Q) Why is it the ones you want to buy dont fall as much as you would like
A) Because you chose wisely

Not always, my carillion holdings are not doing as well as expected!
MikeM14. Interesting take on the uptake of shares. I didnt take up some of my open offer shares but then asked for some extras in another broker. So this should indicate I should get my full wack. Although not showing in the account this morning but wasnt expecting it too.
Im glad your on the ball as I missed that although I was just allowing the process to flow and see what happens. No dividend showing in the accounts, maybe no one to sign the cheque cos they were busy at the meeting
Well done Krusty looks like your gaining more and more experience everyday.
All approved at the General Meeting, trading due to start Monday so guess we'll find out our allocations then. Apart from the PrimaryBid applicants who already know theirs.

SharingGuy,
Yes, existing holders get 1st pick (up to a limit), and then new holders get access to the balance.
I'm not sure what "PB" is - maybe PrimaryBid? That may be categorised as "Offer for Subscription", or "Intermediaries' Offer", which are subject to scaling-back.
Of course, existing holders, under the "Open Offer" (the 1-for-13 entitlement) only get what they ask for - if the pool of shares in the Open Offer isn't all asked for by existing holders, then some of it becomes available to would-be new holders.
The distribution, which you ask about, is all detailed in yesterday's (25 Nov) RNS announcement. It's interesting that the Open Offer (for existing shareholders) had a limit of 151,992,157 shares, but only 132,755,455 were taken up, and that *includes* the Excess Applications. So new investors have taken up the slack. Of course, some of the existing holders could have been big institutional investors - funds, etc - who couldn't take-up more shares because it would upset their portfolio balance.
Gerry557,
I agree - this is all a bit hypothetical until the votes from today's General Meeting are known.
Rgds, Mike.
I struggle to see how a broker can confirm until the UKW hold the meeting today and agrees the resolution. Although I don't expect it will fail. I suspect many will total up all the shares asked for against those granted, subtract the 1 for 13 element and divide the rest up.
They may spread this evenly ie every investor gets the same percentage but I have heard some might give a priority to smaller or private investors. So 100% up to £5k 90% up to £10K etc but only 40% for 100K+ idea.
I suppose it depends on how good and how difficult it is to do for the brokers. It might be worth reporting which broker you are using when you get results. Im not expecting much till next week although I suppose they can plan now assuming permission will be granted.
I might try and log on tomorrow and see if there is anything showing as Im expecting a dividend or two due today anyway. if it is 85% it doesn't resolve my issue.
Look like its black Friday for shares today but Ive not bought anything. Why is it the ones you want to buy dont fall as much as you would like
Hi all, my allocation is a new subscription via PB. Been tracking UKW for a while..placing seemed a good entry point. Was interested to understand the distribution....would hope holders got 1st dibs and newbies the mop up.
Maybe the small fish just don’t get the service from any broker at the end of the day it’s all about money so who could blame them. No tolerance boy.
SharingGuy, your broker is quick off the mark, good for you! Nothing from HL yet, hopefully tomorrow.
Reported. I have zero tolerance of personal abuse.
Received my email also 100 percent of what I asked for maybe the bigger players with no experience go to the front of the queue for more shares. Krusty don’t be a k nob all your life.
Received my email - 85% allocation of requested amount. happy enough
