Whilst I agree this can be considered good news for the oil and gas industry on the whole, It’s meaningless to ukog and their shareholders, going back the SP reaction no one is interested in Loxley or anything SS or ukog have to say, they have cried wolf so many times, shareholders and prospective shareholders don’t believe a word they say, that includes their dodgy CPR and also the vague RNS the continue to issue, basically the whole company has become untrustworthy in the eyes of the market in general as well as the private investors…
Drill cost £7 million if done by a smart & responsible outfit with a decent drilling program.
Drill cost for this outfit probably 3 X the normal drill time, and 5 X the cost too. Ohhh and then a 1000 excuses as to how the muds have now caused poor flow or no flow lol
There must be good Wi-Fi in Wetherspoons this morning...
"So they will need to raise some funds to pay for the cost of the drill. Does anyone know how much this is going to cost?"
Answer was provided in evidence given to the planning enquiry;
Drill cost £7 million
Full field development £50 million

Looks like Leni "laughing" Gas punters are seeing the cracks in his crappy US workings, as PPP share price is slowly sheiting a gut !!
Can't see the clown coming to Donkey hill anytime soon either !!
I see Bully boy, Bubblepoint is bullying yet again.
Totally no need to comment on balencedviewers post.
Of course that's what they're doing. If a serious player believed that there was that much recoverable gas down there they'd have bought it out. They haven't it's yet another ukog wheeze that the disciples will fall for and ramp. Wonder how the average down crews buys are looking. Especially the fool who allegedly bought begire the drop and consolidation
It's almost as if they are trying to hype the SP prior to a capital raise.
So far this morning they've convinced people to buy £220.10 worth of shares.

Unbalancedviewer is firmly on my clown filter, totally clueless and now wears slip on's as his mum got tired of him not being able to tie his own after 30 years !!! Spends his life defending the undefendable worst stocks on Aim.... lol

"Save costs" LMAO
UKOG have raised the money twice now just to build the infrastructure and the pad. The annual report will show how bad the finances are.
'So maybe UKOG could farm out a percentage of their various assets to save costs imo,gla!'
That has been 'pre planned' for years. Unfortunately nobody seems to want to do that dance with The Dear Leader.
I find it comical that any good news is always trashed by obvious doomsters. Congratulations Ukog on the appeal victory silencing the nimbys yet again. After watching the Angus Investor Meeting as a shareholder, they are looking to expand gas production/storage. So maybe UKOG could farm out a percentage of their various assets to save costs imo,gla!
Good to see some Positive news.
@scmdcyp, are you on drugs?
The risk of NSTA not extending the Loxley license was never very high on people's worries about UKOG.
The real issue is being able to raise the funds to do the drilling and believability of the CPR report given UKOG's history.
