Nice RNS. As I posted after the AGM, the whole BOD was happy, relaxed and upbeat about the company's prospects. Ebitda is soon to be achieved, but the timing of that is under control of the bod. No need to rush things and they are prepared to make the necessary investments in the company now, for its best interests in the future. Chem posted likewise. That's one of the reasons we both were buying when the shorters dropped the price for us. I'm pleased that David Williams got in on the act as well. Once again, I have the shorters to thank. GLA
voteleave "The BoD seem to have adopted the 'keep the shareholders in the dark and dump on them' approach; as opposed to the transparency we should be getting in a public company" They are on silent, for sure. They want the sp as stable as possible, so the shorters have to work harder. As a shareholder, that suits me. I know all I need to know about TUNG. Cemented in to huge multi-nationals, heading for profit with current products and coming up with new products and customers all the time. I can see why shorters have little joy with this approach.

Interesting, I looked at the Tungsten currency transfer deal with Payoneer, it states there are no fees/commission whatsoever for currency exchange, very useful
Well said, young man!!
Whatever the credit score, we have our revolving credit facility with HSBC should we need it. We also have plenty of funds on offer for financing. I'm not worried.
As the rns said, HMRC jumped the gun and published in error. Payment was made before the deadline. All is well.
Yes, but as someone who owns my own business, how can you miss the NI and VAT deadlines ? They're regular payments so it's pretty lax if they're missing those ?
They will have VAT and Employee NI to pay as a minimum
I can't believe they had any tax to pay seeing as they aren't actually making any money are they ?
The tax must have been formally due well before then for it to have got all the way to a petition for winding the company up; with the threat of it going to court you would have hoped they would have managed this a little better. The petition date was the 21st September. The biggest issue will be with their credit rating - D&B have given them a risk score of 4 which is, I quote, "Represents significant level of risk" and recommends requiring guarantees before extending credit. These notices take a while to wash through
Yes, there was an RNS out about this, they had to pay the bill by the 12th, so they did, a few journos picked up on it and announced it early.
I am sure there is a sensible explanation, but HMRC have initiated winding up procedures against Tungsten Network. This is published in the courts Gazette and has therefore been picked up by the likes of Dunn & Bradstreet and therefore a number of customers will also be aware. Need a BOD statement of some kind urgently
Spikeyj, i thought to said "boring". I must get some new specs!
Ignore me, apparently payoneer charge about £2 per currency transaction assuming values over $10k per month.
With half the ftse/us market companies signed up, some will need invoice financing, others will need currency exchanges at lower rates than the banks, and does anyone know how the payoneer system works? Is it p2p or invoice based?
Likewise I took another 10k. Just love these opportunities
Was too busy to follow this today, but got another 3k in the auction. Same time tomorrow?
SpikeyJ "darn it, i appear to be in bed with a couple of contrarians." Not my idea either mate, but budge over and stop hogging the covers!
Thom "K3VMC if you are right and Edi wants his baby back, it would not be good for us. Do you think the company could go private? i afraid a manipulation is on the way" Of course manipulation is on its way. You should know! On the non-shorting side, if Mr Truell wants his baby back, he will be prepared to pay for it, so bad news for you shorters.
evening chilt. hope you and yours are well and happy. yes, would not be at all surprising if a few gloomy types, (possibly even a few with newish accounts!) turn up. lol. not intending to post much here currently, but am holding some & very happy to do so. atb.
FWIW (not much) I'm still strapped in for the long term. Any shorting will no doubt be accompanied by a load of doomsayers on the boards - hmmm, wonder why there's a close correlation. All the best.
