Fuzzbox, the original expectation (in May) was 50% by end June - which it sounds like they partially hit - and full (ie 100%) operational capacity by end 2020, so March 2021 is indeed another 3 month delay.
Though remember this project is already over 3 years behind schedule and probably also 2 or 3 times over budget) probably 4 times with the additional financing being sought).
When they finally get to full running the debt load will be so high that cash flow positivity will still be many more years into the future. In time this may become a dividend payer but I would think we are probably at least 5 years away from that possibility.

Update on COVID-19
Following the diagnosis of an employee operating in the roaster section of the plant having tested positive for COVID-19, SPMP executed its COVID-19 mitigation protocol successfully in accordance with Ministry of Health’s published guidelines. In accordance with these guidelines, a number of employees have been placed in isolation for a period of 14 days, which will have a consequent short-term impact upon production. SPMP’s management is developing a plan to resume production on the roaster on a limited basis with the personnel allowed to remain on site.
Well in the previous RNS they talked about known cases of Covid 19 and necessary isolation. This could have spread and caused all kinds of problems - maybe even a total shutdown of operations and massive delays. That appears to have been avoided.
I too believe that this could be meant as a dampener to suit a buyer/s or to affect negotiations for a buy-out. It could drop further, it could rise again. Definitely a hold and wait and see IMO.
I'm not sure testing people for Covid 19 was positive from the last rns..
Your only as good as your last rns you know..
expect this to trickle down until next update.
Wow,,, a lot more questions than answers in that rns,,,, better to avoid filthy companies imo,,, much safer plays out there.
atb if you believe that jackanory
Oh I see, from the expectation they made in May. Right, perhaps clearer if they state the expectation...
"...towards reaching 100% capacity by 31 March 2021. This is a 3 months delay from the expectation in May 2020. "
I'm confused, 3 months from May 2020 is Sept.
How do they get to 31 March 2021?
That's 10 months away from May 2020.
