I see Twitter is very lively with the anti-vaxers, it seems like a fictional character " Santa " having a covid pass has them all in a tither and created a " boycott Tesco " page, lol.
We really do have some weirdo's in our society, but on the positive, Tesco should be a very safe place to shop if the anti's stay away and by the number of tickups from people agreeing with this point must mean Tesco is going to be very busy and safe this year.
Perfect to short Tesco Monday watch the price plummet.
If it does fall, will rise again almost straight as everyone piles back in. Merry Christmas!
I can’t see the boycott threat of a few swivel eyed anti-science loons impacting Tesco’s bottom line ??
Remind me of the science for a vaccine passport when jabbs they are giving out dont work? The anger is not at the jabbs but passports. Look at Austria and locking down unvaccinated. Not sure if anyone remembers history.. More and more are leaving MSM and looking at the new media.
Thats not strictly true around the focus of the anger though.. first it was denial of covid existing at all, once it was beyond any sane person's doubt that it actually existed it was then anger at lockdowns, then anger at jabs, now anger at the idea of passports. The goalposts move constantly. It's almost an infantile reaction to dealing with what has been a difficult situation for all.
Jabs don’t work ?
Please provide citation.
People stating that the jabs don’t work , don’t understand how vaccines work.
It’s like the illiterate claiming that reading doesn’t educate you lol
The Covid-19 vaccines obviously work and the stats from around the world support it.
@Owl - Spot on.
Just back from Cyprus who have a 'passport system' going into bars, tavernas and supermarkets. No complaints over there and a general acceptance that this is just the way it is. After visits to the same venues they never asked to see it if they recognised you from previous visits.
Slightly off this subject, when I was away I noticed the Cypriot High Street has not seen the same number of shop closures as the UK. Lots of people that are not comfortable with shopping online have very little choice on where to shop for Christmas presents. I can see some of the larger outlets being one shop for all type of places and see a significant increase in non food items.
They don't work simple as that, just people like you uneducated and delusional and rely soly on a corrupt media for your information, good luck, you'll need it.
Vaccinations do work , it’s simple science.
Just because the evidence of such drones meet your conspiracy theory then blame it on the media (the whole worlds media).
Do you know how stupid that sounds?
Every country in the world including Russia , China , USA , Japan, Israel , Australia , Brazil , every country in Europe ….. all working together including their media outlets (hundreds) to say the vaccine is effective when as you state ‘it don’t work’.
Yes sure ;-)
Maybe I can introduce you to my friend who is a African prince with £100 million stuck in a bank account lol
@leas - seen the same in Spain.
Regardless of the loons boycott threats the share price is basically unaffected today as expected.
If I was nervous over having the vaccine, whether it's because I was anxious over needles or not being confident in the science then I would be humbled by the people taking up the offer of a vaccine. That way the risk to me being unvaccinated would be reduced significantly. My 2 eldest daughters who have not had children want to wait a little more before making a decision which I respect but my 15 year old was only too happy to have it.
I'm glad to say my 2 eldest don't excuse their decision on any conspiracy theory or arrogant enough to think the majority of people are delusional or uneducated. Only a coward would say that to hide behind their own insecurities.
Living in the West, we should be grateful that we live in a society that can offer us options unlike many poorer countries that have not even vaccinated 10% of their population.
I have lost 3 very good friends since the start of the pandemic. All pre vaccine. Says it all really.
Apologies OT. Rant over.
Well said leas.
Just watching the share price of Tesco crash die right the advert and boycott …..
Oh my error it isn’t Lol
I blame the internet for giving the people who would normally be sat in parents basements with tin foil hats on rock back and forth ranting their conspiracy theories a platform to spread their garbage.
Even in this case using a forum about Tesco Shareprice predictions.
Sad really….sigh
