I have sent TRCS an e-mail asking if there is any progress on the above pilot which was detailed in the RNS of 14 November last year. It may be sensitive news so I am not expecting a detailed reply. However, I will update folks should there be anything worthy to post. Regards CM
Looks like we agree. Either sell him onto Barca for the best price or at least invest in a Hannibel Lecter mask from Silence of the Lambs!. Won' t damage his looks!. Think I will resist the invitation from Luiz if he ever asks me over for lunch!. What did one paper call him?, Chewy Luis?!. No good having the worlds best player (arguably) if he keeps getting banned. At some time no team will want to take the risk. Very disappointing but LFC don't need to be associated with a character like LS. Regards CM
Agree with LS sale, shan.... Barca supposedly very interested, and would trade for Alexis Sanchez plus cash ... thought Sanchez was brilliant for Chile vs Brazil (although one of the penalty missers).
But they had to act in fairness....three times now...maybe lenient tbh. Personally...I think.we should move him.on...someone crazy like psg, real and barca have the dosh so let's play it....can easily get 60m for him....I like the signings br has done too so still looking good next season.
how fair to LFC is that? ... tucked away at Melwood with anger management psychs and BR keeping an eye on things, doesn't bite, even wins gongs ... goes off to Uruguay camp, bites ... result: misses 9 Uruguay fixtures but 12 LFC games (9 PL + 3 CL). FIFA goes from bad to worse, IMO! ..... GL folks
Lol. I don't understand Spanish, but I know who Cesar Milan is. Perhaps we should leave it to him to try and stop Luiz from biting and "don't try this at home". Having said that I think England would have been more successful against Uruguay had we had a Norman Hunter approach to Luiz Suarez where we just kicked him out of the game in the fashion of the late 60's and early 70's when you got your retaliation in first!. "Norman bites your legs". Frightening to think what the Leeds Utd. team got away with in those days under Don Revie!. Amazing run here for TRCS. Wish I had bought more initially at around 85p. Nice and steady. Good luck all. Regards CM
Found the LOL side of last night's Suarez affair... looking for some oil and gas stuff in a Paraguayan paper, and found this (Paraguay/Uruguay relationship a bit like France/UK; "mordredor" loosely = yard dog, pit bull etc)......... http://www.lanacion.com.py/articulo/168998-el-mordedor-suarez-podria-ser-sancionado-por-la-fifa.html
... isn't really stunning, given £9.8 in the first half (although £20 mln could be a conservative estimate given there are still five weeks to go). However, think the margins will be good given it is likely there will be a high proportion of juicy consultancy revenue (driven by franchise musical chairs activity being high this year). All in all, the high valuation probably just about justified but DYORR, folks.
c 4* revs looks fairly valued imv
Doing well in all areas. Well ahead of market expectations. I look forward to specifics when results for year ended 31/7/14 published. Bought in at 159p so well pleased with investment and hold for further growth in sp. DYOR
(the Raheem variety!)
What's going on here then?, and still no news from the U.S pilot from last November!. Hmm. Congratulations to TRCS for winning the breakthrough 50 award too. Good luck all and regards CM
"Tracsis are pleased to announce that they have been selected as one of the UK’s top 50 most exciting fast-growth companies by Smarta and Santander."
Excellent news. Pre-acquisition the road traffic mgt business was low margin; hopefully that was then, today might be better, depends on pricing. Labour slipping in opinion polls so re-nationalisation of rail opcos lower probability. Message for BR that can be read forwards or backwards: O sack Sakh-o. Second thought: Toure brother for brother exchange (well, I can dream!)
another contract!
big trade...not sure what as in black but still getting more and more attention. LFC - theres always next season and we are getting stronger. would like to see Ben Arfa, Shaqiri, maybe Lallana and some defenders and maybe hire Jamie Carragher as defensive coach?
It has just occurred to me that the £165m would buy all of Tracsis including a takeover premium, with 2 Andy Carrolls thrown in ... what does that tell us about Premiership football?
Cheers CM... that £164m would be on top of £50m fine for breaking the Fair Play rules!
THINK we could do with strengthening the back 4?!!!. Well, we can't be accused of being boring this season that is for sure!. And there just may be another twist yet. I read Man C are contemplating paying £164m for Messi. Crazy; they could have nearly 5 Andy Carrolls for that!. A better day for TRCS. Hope others investments are performing well. Regards CM
Agreed CM about Labour's chances ... and there is a further possible wrinkle for Labour seats in Westminster if Scots' referendum is "yes". But I think the market is maybe pricing in some kind of "bookie's odds" possibility of a Labour administration. Think we could do with strengthening the back four in the summer xfer market... but go Villa, go Hammers!!
Thanks for the post Tauldelta, something to consider. I was thinking the retrace in the share price was more down to nothing in particular, something which TRCS does from time to time but perhaps there is something more to it; not sure. From what you are saying it does make the assumption that there will be a Labour administration after the next general election. In my opinion that is far from clear. The opinion polls may put Labour slightly ahead at present, but there is time for that to change. There could well be another coalition government or the Tories may get an outright majority. I think it is possibly too far ahead for any Labour policy, if that is what it is or will be, to affect TRCS share price right now. And as you rightly say, it may already be priced in. I think what will drive the share price in the immediate term is news from the U.S regarding the pilot scheme they started running around November of last year. The results should be imminent. If it has proved successful then there should be a positive reaction. Regards CM
More stuff coming from Labour Party circles widely reported in the press over the weekend... certain people in the party are pushing for renationalisation of operating cos ("outright" or "back-door")... in response Milliband has said he will rule out the "outright" variety... but is considering whether a labour government would go for the "back-door" variety ... taking each franchise into the state sector as an when its existing term expires. Would seriously diminish UK demand for TRCS consultancy in the UK which is being driven by need for advice in preparation for franchise bids. But... I think some of this may be in the price now if it has been what has driven the recent drop in SP.
Bit of a hair cut here today, rather unexpected, at least to the degree. Perhaps the mm were looking for shares before there is an update from TRCS re the pilot project in the US, an update should be pretty imminent. A fair number of trades for TRCS today (usually very low), but volume very low, with average trade being only just over 1000 shares. Not sure what that tells us, if anything. If it is of any comfort, another of my holdings, GBG fell by nearly 7% two weeks ago. After a trading update it is now up 17% and more from where it fell to. Perhaps it will happen here to!. Perhaps our good friends from across the Park will do the business at the weekend. The orchestra is tuning up, the fat lady is taking a sip from her glass but as yet hasn't broken into song. Is there to be another twist in the tale?. Good luck all, regards CM
Go toffees indeed...do us a favour mates!!
