Strange that the sell at 36 etc naysayers are quiet today. Remember, even a broken clock tells the right time twice per day.... Don't be fooled by others motives, you either believe tlw is worth buying/holding or you don't based on what information etc is available.
If you search for "Tullow Oil" in Google and click on news and then sort by date, these 2 negative articles are the 1st and 3rd top search results:
No. 1
https://uk.news.yahoo.com/finance/news/tullow-oil-review-output-forecast-095438363.html
No. 3
https://uk.news.yahoo.com/finance/news/tullow-oil-reduces-upper-end-064705257.html
One article is from 2015 and one from 2023. It really does look like it isn't just a conspiracy theory that there is a campaign to keep the Tullow share price down. These negative articles always seem to appear whenever the share price gains upward momentum. I've seen it time and time again in the past few years.
GILTS 10-year note fell by about 30 pts in the last few trading days. Like it or not, this is one of the key drivers in TLW SP. Hopefully this trend is confirmed and the 10-y note minimum set in January 70 points lower is re-tested. Not by chance, it was at that time that the SP reached 40p. At those very same level of interest rates, and in the current OP scenario, I would expect the SP to easily break the 40p resistance and go for the re-test of the 60p level.
We should have a Royal Rumble with all the world leaders. Winner gets to have their currency as the reserve, loser has to let the winners citizens enslave them. The question is, would you back your leader. And, which leader do you think would come out on top. I'm voting for Angela Murkle. I reckon she has a nasty head kick.
If somebody is giving a tip on Tlw results they need to get another job - the results are already published and the Kosmos production update for the 1st Quarter takes care of 2024 to date. What a plonker
It is frustrating because the SP does not make sense with oil averaging above 80$. There must be some problems with debt not being properly covered by a forecast generated cash... Can someone explain how can a stable oil business be valued at just 1/3 of its yearly revenue?
Bondy, I haven't done much looking into the outcome of the results, what do you reckon will be the verdict. Good results, or should we be expecting some negative. I'm about 4% in the red at the moment, so hopefully with good news it'll turn me green. Yeeeehahhhhh
A tip on a public company results a week ahead? Are you serious :) Use your money to build an hotel on Park Lane, you'll be more likely to cash in and leave the markets to the pros, and cover your short you are burning xxooxx
Hahaha, any good news gets me excited mate. Just want it to rocket northwards. Yeeeehahhhh. Have a wicked friday lads.
Breathe Vir... Breathe, and relax lol.
Same tipster who told me Croatia for Eurovision. Double your money at evens. Best return of the year.
Lol monopoly, you've gotta Laugh. Is that the same tipster that told you to back Redrum at this years national.
Got a tip that the results next week are below analysts estimations. It's a sell at 36 p.
Scooby, don't get me excited.
Be nice if this year mirrors the previous with a 50% rise in sp over the following 3 month period post AGM.
Who know what rabbits might get pulled from the hat (except jmax, they are special).
39 once more on the lead up in anticipation?. Fingers crossed for a piece of boom news.
Big, Maxine was also ramping £2+ in 2022. She's a full time trader and long term holder just looking for the next pull back to make a few Koruna.
GLA LTH
Bigboi,
Did you predict 250p per share by 2024 ?
How many shares did RD actually buy at market price ?
Bigboi my posting record is better than yours ;)
JMAX, you are just f... idiot.
Rahul owns already over 20 mln Tullow shares, which will be worth nore than 20mln pounds in few years, when he decides to retire early.
And you... Still will be a life loser.
The graph is directed by news and the OP, not the other way around.
Over the last few years tullow tends to tumble around the time of earnings. Id say most people are very much on the fence.
Must be a bit worrying for any shorts as this graph is looking like Tlw is consolidating at these levels which would be a good launchpad for any news in the pipeline.
If directors started selling then the sp would collapse.
Be nice to see more buying, but no rns regarding them selling so happy days. Tumbling upwards.
Perhaps he has other expensive hobbies and has no more cash available that's not tied up elsewhere.... Who knows, he'll be annoyed he did not stick a few million on today with an easy 2% rise so far. I imagine history is full of companies where share prices have risen substantially without directors buying.
