Mr Mick Billing, Executive Chairman, commented:
"We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mark as a Non-Executive Director of Thor."
"Mark has an outstanding background as a geologist and manager of people and processes, and has a wealth of experience with commodities which are a particular focus for Thor, including copper, gold, molybdenum, and uranium, and we are very pleased to add his strengths to our team."
Mark McGeough has worked with a number of Australian Mining Companies, including:
· Chinova Resources Pty Ltd (formerly Ivanhoe Australia) where, as General Manager - Geology, provided corporate governance leadership, and led technical teams working on copper, gold, and molybdenum/rhenium resources
· Toro Energy Limited where, as General manager Exploration, he was responsible for teams exploring for uranium in Australia and Namibia, including discovery of the Theseus Uranium deposit.
· Prior to these roles, Mark worked as Manager - Geological Survey with the South Australian government department of Primary Industries and Resources, and with Mount Isa Mines, Xstrata Copper and Zinc
· Mark McGeough graduated with a B.Sc Joint Honours in Geography and Geology from the University of London in 1976.
THR has accumulated Miltiple very attractive assets and in some cases key strategic assets, like Uranium & Vanadium in USA. Uranium price expected to Double as demand for Nuclear reactors expected to rise sharply. Vanadium used in reinforced steel and also now being used in batteries.
Copper & Gold at Kapunda look very attractive. Gold comes as Free carry.
Pilbara Goldfields located in Gold rich belt. We already know about...visible Gold mineralisation from.'Multiple' locations.
MCap should build on from current lows in coming weeks and months.
Orion is the copper worth much in terms of Sp? Do we need to rely on nickel being high grade?
Some great volume again and some mad after hours trades.
All looking good team going forward and also good to hear from Orion, our man on the ground !
Hey mate - the Thor project is almost 300 km from Havieron. No relationship to the Paterson Province -completely different geology . Having said that GGP abut with their Panorama project.
But you cant build a company relying on one small tenement -if the nickel does not come up trumps the Thor share price wont hold up . When you go into an area you have to assemble acreage -no good relying on one roll of the dice.

What is your Fetish with Mick ?.....Lol
Mick would probably get replaced by new management when THR is bought out. Unless he delivers great returns over next 12 months.....who knows ???
Would not be surprised if Gervais Heddle makes a move to just Annexe Pilbara Goldfields with Havieron !!!
Hawkes bay,
About 2/3 weeks.
In current money these were 75p (yes 3/4 of a £) in 2011.
I'll say this the other two don't have Mick running the show!
GGP 540m
CAI 152m
THR 6m
Anyone can see the massive upside for THR from current entry level. Value is built over time. At current price, it's a No brainer.
next to GGP flagship Havieron Gold deposit where THR reported....'Visible Gold mineralisation from Multiple locations'....
Results due soon...
Thanks for calculation Mister Positive, and that's just for gold, we still have ability to take 75% of copper interest at Kapunda. Meaning guys looks to be 6p+
The warrants will be exercised if SP gets higher. I think there are rather a lot of them floating about.
Warrants Exercise price is @ 100% premium...if I remember correctly.
and exercising Warrants brings in more cash for THR.
All companies issue Warrants at premium. GGP had loads of warrants too. GGP now is now at £540m MCAP.
What dilution? ....read the RNS...fully funded here till end of the year.
They can raise @2p
and i will be happy to participate.
Loads of dilution to come. Loads of warrants.
