Outside of hardish closed periods around results anything else the business can call a closed period internally if it considers there is significant inside information.
Yesima,
I'm fairly certain the CFO is in a position to see the state of business beyond the period of any insider trading rules and has made his quarter of a million investment for the long term accordingly, but you know that.
*My working assumption is now that a there must be no meaningful conversations live re spin off or take private given CFO purchase?*
Correct. But what gave you the impression that such conversations were taking place?
Obviously, the buy doesn't prevent an unsolicited approach.
So the CFO makes a huge buy and Nutrition is set to double it's Manchester site staff and the same old naysayers continue to try and put a negative slant on it? The ducks are lining up, come on guys, your time is up, do us all a favour and move on.
Good to see longs having a bit of fun, and the SteBOT quiet. Sure he will soon be back soon. Can someone please enlighten me on the Insider rules. My working assumption is now that a there must be no meaningful conversations live re spin off or take private given CFO purchase?
